Hey ActiveMike
Why do you say Sould have left it that way?
Are the whipples giving you trouble? I'm considering a whipple on my 525. It runs really well now, but more speed is always good. Or should I just leave it as is?

So what's the differece between the 600 and 700 that makes the 600 a dinosaur?

its been done before without success. Dan and I with ThunderBolt and Radio Active..675's/Bravos... Common rule of thumb is that 525's is about max for those pos bravo's.. plain and simple. Then there have been a few (dockman) in searching for speed threw on a whipple and achieved the speeds they wanted.. 100+ and then blew numerous drives... hell, that's no fun ...I need a better drive, lets throw on another band-aid pos bravo drive like a BMAX... sh*t, they lasted 25 hours. but guess what.. cause of their inefficiency they lost 10mph on top end. There is no happy medium. You either get the 525's/bravo's and be good on the sticks.. or get the 700's with the nxt.. it has a tranny. OR get with Rik from Arneson and go the asd-7 route. same price as the B-Backs and they work. Hustler does it all the time, you guys can too. Have a nice day.

the 525's are dynoing around 530-540 horse. the 600's are very close to the published hp.. not worth the extra coin.. especially when the blower is at 3-4 pounds of boost. The 700's are better as you know and the drive is way better than the bravos. Personally Im liking the 725 Ilmor package with the Indy drive. What I need is a custom motor.. around 825-850hp and some bullit proof ASD-7's.. set me up... would ya..

The jury is still out. I've had zero failures with Bravo XRs in the last 3 years excluding the whipples and 7 failures with NXTs.
At the very least it's a 'hung' jury. (don't touch that, Jeff )

A bunch of good points.. The reason for thinking about the 600s is that i have a few freinds that are running 86 or 88 and it would be great if i could leave them behind. If the 600 would push the boat 95 or 96 it might be worth the upgrade..
