Much cleaner without the hatches, but dark cabin...

L.E.D. lighting in the cabin?

Not really any darker than with painted deck hatches. I like it alot.

Me too.

I like the no hatches.

ActiveThunder 02-28-2010 03:55 PM

And it makes the deck look endless from the helm.

What about doing a flush hatch that would still give you the clean look but allow for some ventilation. I have a sawzall that you could borrow  Now getting back to the pictures as "Oliver" said; More Please!! :drink:

The 39 and 43 will have flush mount hatches.

Sydwayz 02-28-2010 08:35 PM

Hang tight on the pictures. We have one more small thing to finish.

In the pictures posted so far it appears there's no windshield either, is Jeff opting out or is it my senior vision?

It is a nice look, long and lean...but I prefer the recessed hatches..flush with the deck...there is a SS 3/8" hose that is in the lowest position of the well that goes underneath a track that is built into the deck and exits overboard right above the SS rub rail. Clean look.

You A.T. guys with new boats coming out are very fortunate in this economy. The quality has been exceptional over the last 2 years that I have seen. Usually in a downturn..you will see some skimping here and there..BTW..The new dash looks great.

jeff1000man 03-01-2010 01:13 PM

That boat has AC. It don't need no deck hatches. :coolcowboy::bigbird:

I was considering going there, but you are not fully indoctrinated yet. Give it time.

:lolhit:

Seriously, what's the story? Is the 38 Danny Special going to be the "new 24&7" that everyone pops? Maybe it's lopped off cat ala Liberator style?

How about a thread in the GD with details.

Will do Brian..once everything is finalized..It will be a full blown boat company with a 20-23' flats and bay boat, then the 28 Offshore first, then 33 and 38 with some slight bottom modifications. There will also be a 41 ..almost finished.:ernaehrung004:

Update!! I went to florida this past weekend and took the boat out for a couple of days. This boat was everything yall said it was going to be and more! Me and pat went out sunday morning and had the boat running 85 with no problem. We still had another 800 rpm to go but shut it down. I ran it down to miami sunday and it was very easy to get use to. We running 60 to 70 on the way down in 3 to 4 foot swells and the boat just sticks to the water.. I am very very Happy with my decision to buy this boat. Cant say enough about the ride.. Just Awesome!!

JeffC 03-02-2010 07:49 AM

I would post some pics but the AT police are watching!! We should have some good pics by the first of next week...
