Well, it's been a while since I've posted on Offshore Only and it's been 10 years since I've worked at Active Thunder. I visited the factory yesterday afternoon and got a chance to see AT's newest 37. All I can say is "WOW"! What a gorgeous boat. The quality, fit N finish, and hi-tech look is on par with the best in the industry...if not above. The new dash, ergodynamics from the helm and gage placement was outstanding. The innerlined cabin was finished off with great detail and lots of storage...much better looking than the "stick" built cabins of 10 years ago. The stereo system and speakers were off the charts!! Stunning boat!! Pat, thanks for the sneak preview and it was great seeing you again. I'll keep you posted on my Hydrostream project so you can "Thunderize" it a little!! Steve

It's nice to be remembered as the "good" Steve! lol Glad you guys are still enjoying your boat!! I still bump into many people that I sold boats to in the past. It's always fun to hear the stories and how they've moved up or upgraded!!

Yeah, and you better keep them secret for now since you started that 'coffin dash' thing! :party-smiley-004:

Got together last night with a bunch of HRPA buds. I was telling Dave Lauterbach (of the racing Lauterbachs) about this beautiful new 37. And, how long the boat looks without deck hatches. His reply was that USCG regs require a second means of egress out of a cabin.
Hmmm? |

I know the 39 Hustler, and 39 Nor- tech dont have them.. but as options..
|
Option 1- open the cabin door
Option 2- kick down and or ram the table insert poll through the cabin door! Sounds like 2 to me... :) |
