No difference going from 1000hp to 1350hp ? Are you sure ? Horsepower is usually a major factor in insurance. Maybe after you reach a certain level the rate chart flettens out.

My Ins is 3600.00 a year. Never had a claim. What's up with that?
37 avh 500 efi's  |
Thunder roy,
I am in the same boat, literall., That is, from what I remember, what I was quoted as well. That is for a 0 layup time. I would save only 300 bucks for a 4 month layup, not worth it. |
Thunder Dan, I have no lay up on my ins. I boat most of the year here in south Texas. I tell the ins. co the truth about the speed and motors. They tell me that makes a difference. In case of a claim I do not want them to deny coverage. But damn 3600.00 is high. also a 3000.00 deductable. Some people find ins cheaper and later they get bumped up.

Thats close to what Sy quoted me about 4 mos ago, I just have a problem paying that much, I never had a claim nor speeding tickets, or anything since Ive been 17, thats 22 years being clean, I guess I pay so much ins with my business, (70k per year, and never have had a claim, ) it just botheres me. While we are on the subject, another thing that bothers me is taxes, anyone know how I can get out of paying that too, heheheh:D
