Actually I think the Blue boat is a 42X Cig.

tizbad4 09-16-2010 02:37 PM

Yes that is correct it is a 42x.

tizbad4 09-16-2010 02:40 PM

That is very true. I have always been amazed how well the 37' A/T handles the big stuff.

Sorry but rubben is racing, it is all out of good fun isnt it ?

This type of thread and the new politicks is what is destroying LEOPA. You guys can be the first to all the stops and enjoy it while it lasts because there will always be somebody that will pull up after you guys and they will steel the show. My boat was broke this year so I was a passenger this year. I am sure that if my boat would have been there many of you would have passed me because you can. Some of you guys have faster boats then others and some guys are willing to run there sh;t WOT just to say they were the fastest to the first stop, Big deal who cares.
LEOPA has a reputation of being one of the friendliest clubs out there and have had many boating icons come to our events for this reason. I don’t believe we need internet bickering and politics to bring those people and people like them back.
Get over the my boat is faster then your boat thing, or at least don’t bring it to this forum and embarrass the rest of LEOPA.

thirdchildhood 09-16-2010 03:41 PM

Doesn't come across as bickering at all to me. It's stated over and over that it is just in fun. There will always be someone faster. These videos were fun and impressive to watch. Period.

Darren, I hope that in no way have i offended you and I have had no intention to do so in any way but if I have I do apologize. I do respect you and consider you a friend. We where merely playing on the A/T forum and lots of cig guys out there like to give us **** and was merely meant to be a fun forum for us A/T guys. Once again no harm intended. Now can we go back out and have some fun ? Laszlo

wow, lighten up.

at the end of the day we all stand on the dock, drink a cold one and enjoy the time we spent together on the water.

We're just poking some fun at you guys so relax and enjoy the party.

And for the record being the first to any stop on a Poker Run is only good if you enjoyed the ride with the entire group and they pulled in with you. It's not a race and I have no respect for any boater that treats it as anything other then a good day boating.

HIGH PRESSURE 09-16-2010 05:31 PM

At the end of the day how you conduct yourself and your attitude on and off the water will always over shadow the boats performance no matter what brand it is.

I can't stop looking at Bill's Avatar.

Can you expand that pic, like quite a bit ?

ActiveThunder 09-16-2010 07:16 PM

Darren,

do you have a brother named Rich that ran PRs back in the 90's that I sponsored with?

I just was driving home and the last name was ringing a bell. Might be coincidence but just asking.

Pat

Hey guys ...I was on Dino's boat ... that was one outstanding ride! All of the boats running up front during that leg were completely badass and that goes for all drivers as well. I agree with Laz, that's a run that won't be soon forgotten. I have to admit this string has been very entertaining. All the best! Rick

That is the 42X Phil built w/850's. It was in a magazine and Danny from Central FL was the first owner.
