Well this is in good fun to lazeee...what would happen if I pull off the throttles of my 700 Zuls????? I would let a A/T catch up....video #1 shows it all at the end...one crack of the throttles and you are bye-bye! trust me, if my lady didn't want to take pictures of all the boats we would have been first like we are every year!! Also, since we are talking open & honest...weren't you bragging @ Thunderfest about your motors making 794 hp...now you say 750hp...lets keep our stories straight my man!
sorry...had to set the story straight V/C! Todd Laszlo |

Like i said was out of fun, but just for your info I was running my test props still at only 5.3 lbs of boost so dont need to catch up my friend. Motors made 800 Hp on the Dyno @ 6.3 lbs yes and we are only running 5.3 lbs of boost currently with a fat tune of 1280 Deg for testing so only 750 HP currently but we have lots of room to start bumping up the power once we have the boat realy tuned in, Sorry no CIG came in first this year Todd, and I believe Joe came in first last year with his outerlimits, Brian second and us in third with stock 525's and Larry behind us. Sorry but rubben is racing, it is all out of good fun isnt it ?
Laszlo And yes... it is in good fun!! Todd |

Blah...Blah...Blah... you have been testing props for 2 months??? figured you would have found a set yet by now...wasn't mercury, hering, b-blades, hydro-motive catering to your kustom needs for the set-up??? Btw.. last year I was in my fishing boat with ten people...so you are right about that... but we were in the middle of the pack.
And yes... it is in good fun!! Todd Will have a drink at the next meeting, but you have to admit the A/T ran well. Laszlo |

Yup been taking our time to get set up but Brett is running 3 weeks out so he has my final props and yes we have been testing them all, but in the end my box stock 32's ran you down and no CIG first to Jacks this year my friend. But I am sure we will have a good run next year for sure and will be looking forward to it for sure. All in good fun and it was fun running with you guys.

An old Baja was 4th this year and 2nd last year. Next year things may change............where do you get those flags?
Laz you have a beautiful boat there is no doubt about it and it runs well but as I was coming up to Belle Isle I am sure I saw Todd make a U turn just south of the Island. Good run I have been first at stops a few times in the last 2 years and it does feel good but I know I was not the fastest boat in the run I just held her to the wood and it stayed glued together. |

112?
Bottom line. An AT is not faster than a Gldiator with the same power in smooth water. An AT is about the same speed as a 38 and 39 Top Gun with the same power in smooth water. The bottom line is who has the sack to put the sticks down in the rough stuff to get there first. Gladiator Guy...With all do respect, don't talk would, shoulda, coulda. That is BUSH LEAGUE. Maybe you could have spanked him but you choose NOT to per your statement and your wife lack of desire. Come on here when you have video of you spaking his azz! "Done that" is much better than woulda, shoulda, coulda... |

Todd It's a well designed, well balanced boat that has a patented hull design and is still in production. It also has a luxurious and usable cabin in the bow and ahead of the center of gravity to entertain guests. And it also has the 'added plus' of being able to corner without spitting the occupants out which makes even the most nervous wives happy. Here's a few pics of the cabin and cockpit if anybody is interested. :drink: |

Continues to prove that Cigarette sets the standards by which all others are judged...
BTW I'll put my money on Todd. |

WOW you cig guys can get your pantys in a wad, this is just for fun is it not ? A non cig pulls up and runs the numbers and you cant handle it, how about hey Laz that thing ran its ass off and congrats for running with the cigs ? Guess that would be just to hard to say. GEEEZZZZ !

The big question is....where is part 4 video from Jacks back to DYC. I would love to see that!! It was rougher than a corn cob. I can't recall seeing Lake St Claire that sloppy before. Laszlo, I was impressed of how long the A/T stayed close by... before you fell off. Come on Las lets see it. Just for fun. Dino:drink:

Laz, I watched all 3 videos. Great F#@king run. No one could hang with you. Listen to the excuses lol. Very impressive. Very mesmerizing video as this is a run that I make often. Only problem is that your engines are too quiet ;) .
|
Just watched part 4. What's up with all those boats hosing you down? Your AT crushes the rough. I think that heavy cabin helped you. Maybe I will look into Active Thunder when it is time to upsize! What speeds are we looking at or is that an unmentionable?
|
Brian, good to see you out there in the Baja.
|
How big is this rough as a cob water, didn't look to big in the video.
|
Nice vids! love the Gro Pro stuff. Looks like the AT's and the Ciggies are both fast. I have only seen a couple AT's up close and they look really nice for sure. Going back to the comment on the weight between the Glad and 37 AT, I think they are closer than you think in weight. A Glad is defintely heavier than 7K lbs more like 9K+ loaded up. They are very heavy duty. But anyway, it would be cool to see and all out drag race between the two with equal power. Good stuff!

Finally got to ran fast in some 3-4 footers the boat rides great.. the faster the better it got.. AWESOME boats!!! I think they are by far the best bang for the buck!.. I think I will just keep mine... and that is saying a lot from someone who has had a different brand the last 7+years... (inc cig) I hear every time im out its the "prettiest boat on the lake!":drink:

We picked our line to run the inside line with Dino and instead of trying to cut off the other boats turning out we decided to have some fun and run through the wash, (was actually funny as hell in the cockpit) it was a mixed bag of 3-4's with rollers coming in, hard to tell when you are running 100+. I have been very impressed with the wave crushing ability of these boats from day one when Pat the owner of A/T personally took us out for a Demo ride in the open ocean, he sold us on these boats and where ready to order ours on the spot, but due to the current economic times opted to pick up a used one and rerig it to our tastes, best decision we have ever made. We put in saturday morning at Bolles harbor in 6 + footers and never once had to slow down, we ran the run and ran it back to Bolles sunday morning with 1/2 tanks of fuel left, pretty cool. If you would like I would be happy to take you for a ride one day so you can feel the difference, we are proud members of the A/T Cult and love running with the group. Running with Dino was the highlight of the event and I dont think we will ever have a better time and will gauge all future runs against it, I cant say Thank you enough for one hell of a good run. Thank you Dino you are a class act ! Laszlo

It never does in a video but these are my waters and believe me, no one is exaggerating here. That lake can get downright nasty as can the western end of Lake Erie. It's not predictable rollers either. It is a big mess with uneven wave height and lots of holes. Watch some of the other boats bouncing all over the place before they stop trying to keep up!
