Yes, since it is a simulated "race" you have to wear helmets, life jackets and lanyards. I just grabbed a couple of my snowmobile helmets.

Nice pics! Thanks for sharing them!

For sure will protect from getting hit with a hard object but if you get tossed what happens when the extra surface area of the helmet hits the water?
Or you`re unconscious and it start filling up with water?
Seems in some cases it would do more harm

Wearing a helmet is mandatory when racing boats. Imagine the harm to your head if you hook and get pinballed around the cockpit on your way out without a helmet. Believe me I know.

It was a fun experience and nice having the only Active Thunder there. Lots of people came up to check it out at the docks.

As for the helmets - racers wear them for a reason. It really wasn't too annoying at all wearing it(first time I have worn a helmet on a boat).

Poured rain Thursday, Friday and Saturday up until the start(noon). Then the sun was out the rest of the day!

My brother almost bought that Pantera but couldn't get decent insurance.

My favorite 28 Pantera to this day.

You know I have looked at these pictures over and over and still can't tell , based on the pictures, if those are Miller Lites. The can color looks correct however but I still am unsure.

Do you have any more pictures to clear up this issue?

That boat always seems to have a "nice" crew on it, whoever owns it ! :drink:

You better borrow Diane's reading glasses, you can clearly see Bud Light on the cans. I know you, you just want to see more pictures of the crew! :evilb:
