For sure will protect from getting hit with a hard object but if you get tossed what happens when the extra surface area of the helmet hits the water?
Or you`re unconscious and it start filling up with water? Seems in some cases it would do more harm The material in them that does soak up water isn't enough to offset the bouyancy of the styrofoam. Buck |

I participated in a demonstration "race" on Lake George(NY) on Saturday and Sharkey got some awesome pics of the boat in action. Check them ou
As for the helmet/safety equipment discussion, there should be no debate the value of a good helmet and good vest in any organized event that involves these speeds &/or close competition. They may seem like a PITA when everything is going good, un till you get pitched, or you take a hard hit. TRUST ME that discomfort is something you can live with, literally! |

Speaking of A.T.pictures, how come we haven't had any pics of that new blue 37 that has shown up in the back ground of a few other shop shots lately?
|
The one you are refering to is the old F2 race boat that is undergoing a refit back to a pleasure boat. It's got VI drives on it. :D
Now, the other blue one... Stay tuned!! :D |
