I know of a few 25's that raced in f-1, one vision, and Active Tunder Racing but i a fairly confident that there has not been a 28 that raced in P class. I may be wrong, it happens all the time. I can tell you it is a great boat, that is for sure.

I think you are correct that Shane Sherman raced his 32 at one time and I know there is a f-2 37avh that races in SBI, team outlaw. The 28 make the 25 look so little when you put them next to eachother.
I have not seen a 28 race either...

If set up properly, I think the hull could do very well racing. It is lighter than most of its 28' counter-parts, and flies very level.
I do agree it dwarfs many other 28' boats- mine was sitting next to a 28' Apache when I bought it and made it look small.
Pat said the actual depth of the 28 was greater than the 32, and as true with most boats this length, the balance seems to be better with twin SBC's.
A couple of aluminum race-prepped BBC's would be interesting though.........
Now if I can only find some time to use mine?
