The race boat and a couple others have had drain plugs in the step, but they are not needed. As a backup to the bildge pump, you can stick a shop vac over the thru-hull and pull the water out that way as well.

I have mine wired to the power switch for my water pump. I didn't like it turning on every couple minutes when the cabin power was turned on.
Good idea Brian. Maybe I'll hook mine to the stereo. Once the two 800 an one 1000 watt amps are powered chances of me hearing the bilge cycle are pretty slim ;-)

Nice ride 460! I was looking at it a month ago and figured it wouldn't last long at that number. Welcome to the cult and enjoy the Kool Aid!

You are gonna love this boat, nice. Notice the stitching says Thunder Racing, does anyone know if the Racing part means anything special to the build? Mine also says Racing which makes me ask the question.

Thanks for the compliments guys!
I saw all of the discussions on it - even emailed with Tebo and spoke to Ed about it quite a bit. Virgil and Carl down and Boats Direct were good to deal with. They sent me some up close pics of the paint stuff and the interior before I made the trip and the interior was actually better then I expected in person. I pulled the cover behind the gauge pannel and it was not the speedo hanging from the wires - it was the compass. The Speedo was actually moved over in front of the passenger. Not a big deal to me, especially when you consider it has the Garmin in its place.
I was impressed with all of the documentation that came with it - Original Owners manual, receipts for upgrades and changes, Zul Dyno numbers, etc. I have a long list of updates but figured I would start with doing top ends on the engines, replacing the gimbals, paint the bilge (since the engines will be out) and add a swim platform.

The hard part now is playing the waiting game because Brad is so backed up. I pulled onto his lot yesterday to see a 38 T/S Top Gun with a drive issue, a Blue Cig Cafe, White Lightning, an MTI, Thundercat, Formula and 36 Skater......... could be a couple of weeks before it even gets looked at.

I was thankful he met me up at the shop on a Sunday - a lot of places wouldn't do that and it saved me some more driving.
