I have also joined the "CULT". I now own the only 24' AT w/ twin 200 o/b! Known as Livorsi/Gaffrig/U2. It has been well taken care of and I will continue to do so. :)

What type of speed you looking for? Better yet- what drive /engine combo?
|
Honestly, I'm happy with it right now. It's old... 1992! I believe speed is near 70? I haven't been able to get the GPS to work yet! I don't have great pics atm, but I can scramble one from the day I bought it:

If the numbers are correct I should be around the 105-108 range ! Surface drive and we shaved almost a thousand pounds off of what it use to weigh . Mild little 750hp blower motor !
We come down and hang at Masonboro Inlet and eat at the blue water all the time . That's my favorite day trip ! About an hour and twenty to Get there cruising at 60 . We'll have to meet up sometime |

When I ran my slip #s, it came in around 17percent, which I believe I can get it down. The current prop is a 29p hydromotive, and after talking with bblades, going to try a 30 or 32 bravo I this spring after doing some mods to the carb/intake/heads/procharger/fuel system setup currently. A similar set up on a boat that was for sale a while ago had 675hp and ran 88mph..so I figure I should be damn near that this spring..hope so |
Depending on heads but I would bet your over 700hp Mike
|
Nice....how many hours? Any drive issues?
|
I know the feeling I cant wait to run my new power(555ci 693hp) and see what I can get out of it. Had to winterize it before I got to put it in the boat.
Gonna be a lot of prop testing on Tantums in the spring!!!!!:signs069: |
motor has apprx 130 hours, hull around 400. bravo I with a XR lower.
your not kidding about prop testing, i'm thinking bravo I, 30p or 32p |
