HavinATantrum 06-19-2012 11:16 AM

Nice boat, and popular for a reason.

My Addiction 06-19-2012 03:31 PM

Welcome to the Cult. Nice ride, we need more pictures.

It's a Tantrum takeover! Most fun you can have with 25 feet!

My Addiction 06-19-2012 09:12 PM

Ok I see it now. So what power? Is this the one that has the big windshield?

Yep, thats it, going to remove the windshield for now and snap a few pictures once I get the darn thing off jackstands. Trailer bearing blew on the haul back. Axles in the shop getting fixed. Trailer brakes are being replaced as well as bearings, etc. Overall, Im very impressed!

carrera1 06-20-2012 09:12 AM

wow, its easy to insight a cult riot.:evilb:

mgh 06-20-2012 09:40 PM

mgh 06-22-2012 09:33 AM

WOW is all i can say, got the axle together and dropped her in around 845pm last night, ran around til about 11. super impressed with handling and characteristics of this thing. plenty of power, just a slight touch of throttle we are gonnnnee. ran over some rollers no prob around 55mph, no sloppyness, nothing!

you know they are bad a** when a guy in a fountain at the ramp comes over and says "what kind of boat is that?" i repeat saying its a active thunder, he says "ughhh what kind?" lol

i think at that point my girl believed me when i say AT are the SICKNESS lol.

:eekdrop:

R Addiction 06-22-2012 09:45 AM

1st time out and runnin' at night! Glad all went well. Welcome to the Cult, enjoy the Kool Aid (its Addictive!):evilb:

mgh 06-22-2012 09:47 AM

stopped running when the sun came down, there were fireworks off the water near my home, so we just anchored, listened to some tunes and watched them. idled back in..water is too low to takke any chances, especially in the dark. a buddy of mine blew his prop last weekend on a submerged pilon! addictive for sure!! thanks

R Addiction 06-22-2012 09:57 AM

Looking forward to some sunset running this year. We kept our boat in a Hi-Dri facility for the last 11 years and had certain times that we had to be back to put the boat away or it woud sit out on the dock unprotected (I can't have that!). A garage is being built at our house this month so we are back to traveling and getting some work done that has been put off.

It's made by Windline, the 3 step telescoping model. Baja used them for years on their tubular platforms. I had Pat install one on my 33. I like em!

Pat didn't have that file anymore so i had my old setup scanned and made. I had mine made in metallic purple and pink. They can make it in any colors. Epic Color, Wisconsin company 262-252-4577. Send me your e-mail and I will send you pictures if you would like.

or at least shortened... but its easy for us to make decisions about your boat! :p enjoy!

mgh 06-26-2012 09:44 PM

I agree with you guys. It will have to wait until next season though. Would like a molded clear windscreen. This one is deff big but in all honesty around 80mph it helps tucking under to keep my eyes from watering! Its screwed into dash so I'd have to fill the holes, maybe with 3m 4200? Not sure... But I'm feeling it would require some time. Thanks for the compliments, have got a few "nice boat" comments on the water...feels good to buy a very well put together boat. Couldn't be happier...well maybe a 32 AT ....

I just had four 2'' x 1.5'' x 1.5'' Aluminum mounting blocks made for my tantrum to mount "wind flaps" from finny's. The windflaps are 8'' by 18'' long and have mounting holes near the center. The mounting blocks are threaded for the windflaps and for a bolt to be mounted on the lip just above the dashboard on both sides of the boat. I will post pictures once I get them powdercoated and installed...

mgh 06-28-2012 03:24 PM

Do you boat on lk st clr? If so when u get your wind screens on, would like to meet up and check em out.
