I think the price of gas and where it could go is also hurting the boat market as well. Let's face it... it takes north of $700 to fill one of these things up... that really hurts.

Plus folks like us, those with enough disposable income to afford one of these beasts, are most likely on the sidelines awaiting the election. If Romney wins, good for business. If Ocrapa wins, we are totally f*cked!

Yeah but I think the days of "cheap gas" are over. Now the the industry has us mind fu*k.d thinking $3.35 is cheap. I started thinking it as total yearly gas consumption. This somehow makes me feel better using a 12 month average. I can hear it now...he has twin SMALL Blocks, he really doesn't know. Averaging 70hrs. a year. Worth every penny.
