I guess I never announced it but after pressure testing the tank and checking all the lines other than the filler neck and vent on top of the tank , we have concluded it must be the tank . there is approx half a tank of fuel in it . we drain everything out of the boat , and the next day there is more gas standing .

before you go taking your boat apart you might want to put some dye in you gas tank and let sit over night and see if the fuel you see has dye ...
