So yours will list to starboard also? Mine only lists to port from the prop torque. Mine has a small pad, how big is the pad on your 251?

Spinning a lefty 23 mirage that i picked cheap last year after trashin my 25 hydro. It wants to lean starboard at lower speeds...never noticed it with the right handed hydro..lookin for a 25 right handed mirage next .23 is under proped for me best speed so far is 64.2 @5000 trimmed to the moon, with alot of throttle left.

I'm gonna say the pad is roughly 18". Its listing not chine walk. I get no chine walk at all. at speeds over 50mph she's a dream, it's under 45 in non calm water that's kinda annoying. I get a list probably due to prop torque, adjust with tab and on calm water it's fine, but in chop and 35-45 it'll kinda flop from side to side dependent on the water. I understand there will be some prop torque but I'm trying to get a better understanding of its stability after you adjust for the prop torque with the tab, and speeds under 45ish. I'm wondering if it rides better at those speeds due to a lack of pad? I'm trying to explain this the best I can, but still not sure I'm doing a good job.

My Checkmate 2800SX will only lean to one side when caught in the slope of a wake while passing another boat or running into a headwind off either side of the bow...a quick touch on the tab and the boat levels out nicely! She does run on a "v" pad bottom...
