Andre,
Just a heads up on your trailer, those open center caps that Manning uses on there trailers hold water inside because they fit tight against the hub. You might want to consider removing them and drilling about 6 1/4" holes around the outside, so in any position the water drains right out. My wheels were ruined by the time I took delivery of our boat, the salt water from testing, got under the clear cote and turned the area around the lugs black. FYI Steve |

Most shortees out there are 'surface riding'. In other words the bullet is designed to be on top of the water, not pushed thru it. No way that is happening on our V-bottom. The new lowers from Merc Racing are designed to run thru the water like a Bravo but allow us to raise the X and gain the friendliness that the 5 bladders give us as well as a new design on the water intakes for the added pressure the new engines and their monitoring systems need. I ran Bravo lowers, Imco lowers and the new Bravo Sports. It ran fine with the first two and I played with all brands and types of props to see what would work. The Sports with some tweeked 32 Maxis made me the most comfortable at 90+ as well as the midranges and coming out of the hole. I really would have liked to pop them on the 37-565 boat here just to see how it effected this boat but 'somebody' had to go on a poker run this weekend and wanted their boat. :party-smiley-004: |

Do you think there are any speed gains with them on a 525 37? |

Well the AC really pumps. We slept well. I just need a coffee maker for the morning and I think we are gonna add a couple inches of that egg foam mattress cushion that you can cut to fit and it'll be perfect.:D
Totally did the egg-crate thing too...works very well... |
