[QUOTE=JUPITER PULSARE;4010621]Yes, the only Staggered 37 ever built. It was the 2nd AVH bottom boat built and went to a guy in Texas. Paint work was done by Dave Hunter in South Florida. Very cool boat and had to be built "custom" to allow the installation of the staggered motors. Not sure if the boat ever really got dialed in to reach it's full speed potential. There were some questions to the center of gravity being quite different from the way the boat was designed to run with the side by side configuration. At any rate, it's a rare and very cool boat to own!! I remember watching the boat get built from day one!!![/QUOTE
It was being built when my parents built there's it was still there getting finished when we pick up my parents....there's was the forth one and at the time if I remember correctly pat didn't like the ride and it wasn't much faster then my parents boat... It was a nice boat though and could still be if they checked everything out good.

It actually was the #2 boat. She ran 94 and was way overbuilt. The thing must weigh 12000 lbs. No ill handling unless you spun the props in, which was the first time we tried and scared the **** out of me!
Not really any difference on the C/G but a total waste doing staggered and losing the cockpit to no advantage.
The 2012 600 boat, pictured to the left, we had running 97.6 this week and it is side by side. But, then again, not a Sherman tank!

I called on it and history from current owner is " bought it from a guy who didn't have any money to repair the blown motors, wiring was a mess so had to rewire the boat. Hatch on deck was leaking and could not get direct replament so this was the best available." Didn't say anything about getting wet or the spin out. I'm not worried or afraid of that issue but I can see where he seems to be "ill aware" "fought" bullsh1t "fought" about the prior history. I. Headed to look at it Monday afternoon

Looks cool. I like the staggered look but loss of cockpit not sure if worth it. Maybe in a 39' application it would work better for a good weekend boat but for Poker run boat would be good. Either way nice piece and would love to see it run and the ride difference with the weight more forward on the step.

Las I get it you can come down if you want and ride/run it
Pat said not much of a differance but I'm sure they're has to be slight or suttle differance for the meat fact it's has 1000 lbs 4 feet foward and 2 feet more center. I'm very intrigued but the BS line I'm getting as a story kinda piss'n me off but Monday is D day
