No it was not that boat. We wanted to try a 1/2 space but never got to. He ran a 1 inch but was a bit to much. As of now I don't know if he has tried it.

Drock... What size P5X are you running and is it stock out of the box. I have been wanting to experiment with a 5 blade.

With that transom and bottom you will need a 1 1/2" spacer with a 4 blade. Should be in the 28p range with a bravo prop and the hp/torque you have.

Thanks for the info. I know you had done a bunch of testing with yours. Any thoughts where I should be with speed, and would I raise back up slightly if I go 5 blade?

Shortfuse - Left hand prop
With the 5 blade leave the outdrive hgt as is, but you will need a 24-26p and cut down to keep the rpm up.
With the right combo you should be 75-78 anytime and maybe 80 in perfect conditions no load.
With the 5 blade it will like alot of trim. Usually +4 of level and should throw descent tail. I run a RH prop and port tab thru the list to about 50mph then its level from 50+.
Take off is 2 clicks deeper with the port tab to stay level and the drive tucked all the way. Once up drive at level and raise tabs to desired ride. Your boat will need alot of input for the ride.
