I just gave the launch ramp closest to the hotel and shortest distance to take trailer back to the lot. There are several launch ramps in town. The one we like the most is actually a bit farther north on the river, I didn't give that one just because of the distance back to the hotel and trailer parking.

lol Thanks. Lots of trips to Babies R Us for us, but not next weekend!!
Am hoping the newest AT cult member might be able to make an appearance!
Friday with everyone checking in and launching boats we figured we would hang out at the Westin and the Nauti Mermaid bar. The outdoor bar is great as are the bartenders. The food is pretty good too. This is just a suggestion. If everyone is there early and we want to do a late lunch/early dinner run there are options.
As for destinations, Pat has it worked out for Saturday. We are going to run up to Gasparilla Marina on Boca Grande.
Sunday is not set. There are several options. Marco Island (not my choice.. boring run and someone ALWAYS breaks! lol) Burnt Store Marina, Fisherman's Village at Punta Gorda. Tween Waters (although dock space here during season might be hard to come by) There are spots in Bonita Springs or Naples. We could take a run up around South Seas resort/marina and come back and go out to one of the spots behind Ft Myers Beach. There are a lot of options.

hmmmm well you can get there from here but with lunch and stops at Gilbert's for cocktails I don't think we would make it back before dark! lol
Here are a couple options for Sunday:
South
http://www.bonitabaymarina.net/ (Bonita Springs)
http://baysideseafoodgrillandbar.com (Naples) ** This one is in Venetian Village. There are actually a couple other restaurants here, so there are choices.
http://www.dockcraytoncove.com/ (Naples)
http://www.snookinn.com/ (Marco Island)
http://www.cjsonthebay.com/ (Marco Island) ** FMO group goes here about once a year.
North:
http://www.burntstoremarina.com/dining.htm (Charlotte Harbor)
http://www.fishville.com/ Punta Gorda
There are more choices. The ones I have listed are the ones I can think of that have the most docks.
If we do decide to go North again there are other routes so it would not be the same run. We can go inside, outside or the twisting turning back waters! or any combination.
Either direction is good. It's nice to have options!
I've spoken to a couple of the places, general questions. However,If we come to some kind of agreement on where we would like to go, and how many boats will make the run, I can call and see if it is possible to make reservations for dockage.
So, opinions? other suggestions?

We went to the Dock in Naples last year, there was docking for about 2 boats there(but you could fender off), I didn't think it was that "fun" of a place. FWIW The only other place we've been is Burnt Store with FMO last year, which was fun, but it might have been the company!
