Does Coosa make them?

Built the first one like this in 2002. It is Outlaw, our F2 raceboat. Not a crack or moisture anywhere,
Know your builder and his process before you give your opinion.

^^^^^ Seen it before, wait 'till those tiny stringers break during a hard pounding and reveal moisture in hard to reach areas. Looks good now but when she gets older, the keel pad will get wider and stress cracks will appear out of nowhere ^^^^^

Another member made a fun comment in reference to ICDEDPPL and his latest avatar, my post was a follow on and no serious reference to your boats was intended. (double entendre) To the best of my knowledge, nobody has ever criticized Active Thunder build quality and I believe they are built to a first class standard in all respects. Sorry for the misunderstanding, please re-read my post and if you wish, I will delete it. Jon. |
I was the one who changed direction in the thread - about ICDEDPPL pic in his AV. It is very hard to miss the twin mount fugi's he has for a picture. Myself and rak rua was only commenting on his AVATAR pic.
VERY Sorry to mess up the post and the misunderstanding as I knew where rak was coming from but also see how it could be taken the wrong way. It is clearly shown the AT pic is one strong built boat with a stringer grid like that. Hence the reason why I asked what material was it to even reinforce that end of it. Also Divinycell is not cheap to buy. |
I musta had my DIckhead hat on when I read the post. Sorry about that. Pretty bad when the most sarcastic person in the world can't tell when something is sarcastic.
For your information, though, the material we use in the transom and stringers is Bluwater Coosa board. We use the 26# density in the transom. We use divinycell 1/2" coring in the hull sides and the deck. |
You obviously had a different hat on when laying out these boats. Very nice set up.
