Default Engine hatch switch

Anyone know where I can get one of these switches? It's for the engine hatch, so I guess its considered a momentary switch

It's an on-off-on momentary double pull double throw (dpdt) switch. Carling brand I believe .

When I put new ones in mine, I found them online.

Instead of having that huge light when theyre on, my new ones have a small red LED so youre not getting blinded while driving at night.

But you and Rookie are correct on what it is.

Just search momentary rocker switch, and make sure its weatherproof.

I have a used one I pulled out of mine when I replaced all the switches. Looks a little dirty.

It sounds like you just got lucky. I had a heck of a time finding that exact switch because Carling changed styles. I had to buy 6 at one time, which worked out because the switch seems to be the weak link.

Still available? Mine is on the fritz again. I'm going to hook up a dual relay or a winch motor relay so I can get some speed out of the hatch motor and save the switch...

Just an FYI, takes the amps off of the switch and hatch goes up twice as fast.
