ThunderDan and Jassman

What is up with you two ? When I put my original "AT versus Sonic" thread on the board, you two could not, would not, stop posting. Now its the occasional Jassman post and absolutly nothing from Dan.

I mean who am I supposed to tell about the Whipples that are being installed on Thunder Enlightening along with those shorty sportmaster drives ?

C'mon guys, where are youuuuuuuuuuu:rolleyes:

Consintracy 11-19-2002 05:53 AM

IN A COMFORTING VOICE....

Don't worry, It'll be ok:)

thunderdan 11-19-2002 06:10 AM

Do not worry Kevin, I am back. I was tied up in court for the last 3.5 weeks and was not in a real joyous mood. But now i am back and WHIPPLES, uttttohhhhhhh;) :D

Jassman 11-19-2002 07:32 AM

Just been so busy, with that month of straight rain and 2 hurricanes, its catch up time, we have been working 7 days a week. Those blue Whipples look great, and now Livorsy Marine has come out with their version as well. I need a vacation, right after the holidays:cool:

ToddW 11-19-2002 08:51 AM

Whipples Kevin?????

thunderdan 11-19-2002 03:40 PM

Kevin, you said whipples, not WHIPS, correct?????:p ;) :D :D

h2owarrior 11-20-2002 08:34 PM

The economy sucks, how can you be so busy ?

Yea,you read that right...... Whipples:eek: The boat already has whips:eek:  Did I say that out loud:rolleyes:

Should put the boat at about, I don't know, say 1500 ponies. I was looking for a top speed of around 85, but heck it's only money, why not cruise at 85:D ;)

thunderdan 11-20-2002 09:00 PM

Cruise at 85 in style, that is for sure.....:D

TIM66427 11-20-2002 10:17 PM

Whipples ? Somebody forgot to tell me!

Jassman 11-21-2002 06:39 AM

It should only take you 3 hours per side Tim, and while your at it, change my pulleys, If those KE are going to blow up, I might as well go out with a big smile on my face:p

thunderdan 11-21-2002 07:49 AM

Surprise Tim, looks like you got one more thing to put on your plate.

Oh yeah, and do not forget to put my sportmaster lowers on right after your done with the whipples on Kevin's, and the pullies on Jassmans.;) :D

h2owarrior 11-21-2002 08:22 AM

Are you serious ?

Tim, do you mean to tell me that Pat did not tell you about the Whipples and the sportmasters for Thunder EnLightening ?

thunderdan 11-21-2002 08:47 AM

and the 900sc and the number 6 drives for the Thunderstorm???

TIM66427 11-21-2002 07:51 PM

LETS SEE JEFF WE ALL MOST HAVE THE NEW DECK ON .JUST A LITTLE MORE BUBBLE GUM. THE PULLEYS ARE CHANGED I AM THINKING ABOUT 12 POUNDS OF BOOST SHOULD BE GOOD FOR A BIG SMILE .DAN FORGET 900'S HOW ABOUT 1400 A SIDE.THAT WAY YOU WILL BE FASTER THAN JEFF.KEVIN WE PUT DANS 675'S IN YOUR BOAT AND CHANGED THE PULLEYS TO 10 POUNDS OF BOOST.IT'S NOT LIKE I AM BUSY .

thunderdan 11-21-2002 08:14 PM

lol....1400's hmmmmmm

Jassman 11-21-2002 08:17 PM

Timmy, 12 pounds of boost aint enough, besides those KE can barely handle the 3 pounds, hehehe. Just tell Pat to send those KE back, Total Marine and Dustin Whipple are making my 1200's and cause I'm in a generous mood, give one of my Imco Extreme to ThunderStorm and the other to H20:rolleyes: Get with Harry and tell him to throw on the Pulse drives. See, now everybody's happy:p :D

thunderdan 11-21-2002 08:30 PM

Jassman,

Thanks, Buttttttttttt,
I do not want those POS Imco's, I have seen you try and get up on plane with those things and it ain't pretty. My xr's are just find with my 675, that is until my 46 is done with my pulse drives and big hp.:p ;) :D

thunderdan 11-21-2002 08:30 PM

I do not seem to have the same engine issues as you, I wonder if it could be driver error, hmmmmmmm

lol

Jassman 11-21-2002 09:18 PM

I guess when you build a 200 or so of them, a pair or two has got to work, murphy's theory:p mine are hopefully fixed, thanks to Active Thunder, and got KE finally out there, gee, just in time to enjoy my boat, Oh, I forgot its winter time, guess what they will be extending my warranty, for all the b.s., Im tired of double talk:mad:

thunderdan 11-21-2002 09:19 PM

somethin like that,:D :D :D :D :D

h2owarrior 11-22-2002 08:24 AM

46???????

thunderdan 11-22-2002 09:27 AM

yeah, 46, 48 whatever it takes....lol

Miller 11-22-2002 09:30 AM

KE's giving you trouble Jeff? Maybe you should just order a pair of 1100/1300 Sterlings with shiftable crash boxes and Number 6s on your 42/44/46 footer...that might satisfy your speed and reliability numbers (plus you'll be faster than Dan's 46)!!! :D

boatfreak 11-22-2002 10:28 AM

Look guys all this talk about 675s,900s, and now even1300s is driving me mad.:( Just last night I was digging under the couch cushions looking for change to eak just a little more out of my LITTLE 496.:D:D

Jassman 11-22-2002 07:44 PM

Whip it, whipple it good Boat freak:D
Miller, I had the boat approx 1 month, put 5 hours on it, so now a total of 13 after the Sarasota PR, and out of the 5 times I went out we broke down 4, distributors breaking, comp. efi problems, and trying to get the motors fixed was like pulling teeth. Total Marine in LA.thank god did the repairs calling KE except the efi programs cause KE wound not send the program, so Pat got it next and KE personally told him to fix it, now he wont pay A.T., aint that the sh*t. Then said if it breaks again don't call me. They are warrenteed buddy, thats what attorneys are for. I know of 4 other people that have had problems with their motors lately. Its unfortunate, they have one of the best names in the business. They finally did fix it, reprogrammed the efi, put new distributors in and welded them properly, and put a breather valve in so when put in neutral it won't die, the port motor won't use twice as much gas, and the excessive transom residue should be reduced, we will see when I get it, Pat said it runs great, hopefully I can enjoy my boat. Sounds to me not enough r&D, and no one hangs up on me or I should have to leave 4 messages for Brett at KE, without a return phone call.

LPBoater 11-23-2002 12:44 AM

H20

I'm ready for your whipples!!! You might want to put two on each motor!! Ol' Size Matterz is running strong - at least it was when I put it away - knock on wood.

Cash Bar 11-23-2002 01:32 PM

Sorry to chime in, just wondered if anyone knew how to reach Mark House of BODYGUARD fame?

I have a couple of questions and would like to touch base.

Thanks in advance for any help!

h2owarrior 11-23-2002 05:45 PM

I gotta come clean !!!!

My conscience won't leave me alone, and in January you would find out anyway. I am not getting whipples or sportmaster drives. Like you guys believed I would anyway. I just want to cruise at 60 and I think the 500's will do that just fine. Besides, I cannot afford the darn things.

I got you to talk though didn't I:rolleyes:

LP: What have you done that I would need whipples to deal with ?

LPBoater 11-24-2002 09:08 PM

All new spark plugs!! - no actually freshened up motors over the winter - most of the valve springs were broken - as you might expect it made quite a difference.

Going to Miami boat show by chance?

MassiveThunder 11-25-2002 08:03 AM

WHY NOT BUILD THE BOAT WITH 525'S AND PULSE DRIVES NO MILL CABIN AND RUN IN THE MID 90'S TROUBLE FREE?

h2owarrior 11-25-2002 08:51 AM

Hey Massive, sounds like your specing out a boat to me:cool:

MassiveThunder 11-25-2002 09:31 AM

h2owarrior 11-25-2002 11:27 AM

Massive Thunder

I sent you an email, got no response, so I guess your not interested ?

You know, you have a very intersting screen name. Someday I would like to know the story behind it...........maybe:eek:

MassiveThunder 11-25-2002 12:18 PM

did not get the email.try again @ [email protected]

thunderdan 11-26-2002 08:21 AM

Big Al,

Gotta keep that mill cabin, it is the only way to keep the wife in the game. You rember what she was like with that cabin in Fla, she keep re-arranging everything so it all looked "NICE":p

MassiveThunder 11-26-2002 01:31 PM

For me it doesnt need to be that fancy to hold beer and luggage. Its just all dead weight and stuff to break.
