Hey Pat, if I come up with a new ad for PB can I trade 2 small prizes in on one big one??? I know you and Steve said you really want to build the bigger boats-so I'm willing to take a 37-new or old cabin(I'm not choosy :D )

Ted

jafo 12-05-2001 12:15 AM

We're leaving for Pompano Beach tomorrow and staying for a week. :D
We plan on going to AT on Thursday!
Maybe another convert in the making?
Keep you posted!
Jim

Miller 12-05-2001 12:23 AM

That's the way to approach this guys. Keep visiting Pat and Steve.

Dan, how long 'til I can get behind the wheel of your machine??? You know the best boat you can get; someone else's Active Thunder!!! :D

H2O, it's only in the top 10, but you only saw 3 manufacturers. That doesn't seem like good odds but we're all anxious to hear from you! ;)

P.S. H2O, all our comments were meant to be in jest. I hope you took them that way.

thunderdan 12-05-2001 08:20 AM

Jafo,

What boats are you looking at besides the Thunder? Once you do drive a Thunder you will never go back to anything else. :D What size baot are you looking at. Are you posting so we will leave h2o alone? :D :D

Miller,
Should be done by late February/early March. Looks like it will be a long Jan and February. Should be splashing her the weekend we get back from Fla picking her up. You may need to bring your ski mask and jacket, but a ride is a ride. ;)
:D

thunderdan-
We presently own a Formula 242LS with twin small-blocks and factory McCleod interior. Nice boat but want something bigger for Lake Michigan!
Boats in the running? 28-32' Possibles are Cigarette Bullet, Formula 336, Hustler 32 and the AT28. Any bigger and I'll be building a new shop!
I like the looks of that '99 AT28 they have with the twin 350 Mags!
BTW, not looking to take anything away from h20, just looking for your input! ;) :D
Jim

thunderdan 12-05-2001 10:13 AM

jafo,

The 28 they have there is a really nice looking boat. It really makes the 25 look small for some reason, it looks much bigger than than 3 feet.

You should also check out the 32 AT if you are looking at other 32's. Both of these boats can handle some really rough conditions. Have a good time in Fla, tell Steve and Pat you are there on a dual mission, to check out the 32 and the 28, as well as checking up on the progress of mine. :D :D Let em know I have people all over the place. ;)

jafo 12-05-2001 10:25 AM

thunderdan-
The 32AT might be a little out of our price range- the other larger boats I listed are a little older, early to mid 1990's.
My Formula has made me slightly partial to small-block power. I like the efficiency of them. I guess I'm just a little different?
Steve told me yesterday we can always procharge or Whipple 'em! Todd and Tracy ran with Pat and his wife to Key Largo- they said the 28 did quite well!
I'll check in on your boat for you- can't wait to get there. Todd said they'd take good care of us as well!
Got to love this OSO (and AT) family!

thunderdan 12-05-2001 10:35 AM

Jafo,
The 28 is a sweet looking boat. Those small blocks on that 28 will push that baby into the 70's with efficency. You are right the OSO family is pretty cool and the Thunder family is a pretty tight knit one. We all like to have a good time. We always have room for more. :D :D

You are right, Pat and Steve will take great care of you. Have a good time.

Hey guys, thanks a lot, now i have to get a "NEW" ad done in a few days...just finished the ad we were going to use UNTIL all of you got Pat all stirred up about this 90mph thing...so if you don't hear from me for a few days, you know what i am RE-DOING!

ActiveThunderTodd 12-05-2001 01:08 PM

Tracy would be able to help you guys out with your ads i'm sure. She would look great in some of that Thunderwear, if we could ever get some. (hint hint Pat and Steve). I'll try and talk her into trying millers new thunderwear idea of body latex. I'l let you know what I think. Sorry guys, no pics though.

ActiveThunderTodd 12-05-2001 01:10 PM

Jafo,

you guys have a great time down there. that would be cool if there was another thunder owner close to us. the clsoest i know of are from the chain of lakes

ActiveThunderTodd 12-05-2001 01:12 PM

Pat,

send me an e-mail and let me know how the freshening on "Best Revenge" is going. That new millenium interior sounds really hot. wish I had the bucks to upgrade that as well.

ThunderousDaze 12-05-2001 01:37 PM

Todd, i have a pic!

Advantage 12-05-2001 02:16 PM

Hey, I would like to see that photo of the new millenium interior as well. Can you send that to me too. Thanks.

thunderdan 12-05-2001 02:34 PM

Advantage,

I do not think he was talking about the cabin pictures :D , I think he may have been talking about Todds girlfriend. :D :D I know that I will be one of the first to see the cabin interior and I will be happy to post on OSO when it is ready for viewing.

Steve,

Sorry man. But boy will it be a sweet ad. :D Remember the slogan, join the 90mph club, a titillating experence. :D :D

Miller 12-05-2001 03:06 PM

This ad sounds like it should be a full-page, possible a two pager. I'm putting new light into certain rooms in my apartment in anticipation of receiving this ad!

P.S. Though I would like to take credit for the new Latex Thunderwear, JASSMAN came up with the idea, not me. Sorry, but I have to give credit where credit is due. :D

Advantage 12-05-2001 03:24 PM

Thanks for the update ThunderDan. Hell, I'll take a photo of Todd's girlfriend too! As a faithful husband, perhaps you give that photo to Miller!

thunderdan 12-05-2001 03:55 PM

or maybe for the ad, join the Thunder 90 mph club, it is sure to leave you breastless, or it will not leave you breastless. :D :D

ActiveThunderTodd 12-05-2001 04:51 PM

Steve,

e-mail that pic that you have....I'd be very interested to see it. Thanks, Todd

ActiveThunderTodd 12-05-2001 04:59 PM

I have some nice pics of the 2 of us together though that when I finally get around to updating my site with all of this years activities you will all get to see.

Advantage 12-05-2001 05:04 PM

Whoa, you're right! What a hottie! You sure are a lucky man! Get that damn website updated pronto, ha! :D :D

ActiveThunderTodd 12-05-2001 05:14 PM

Best of all she is the sweetest and most caring person i've known. :D :D

Tbikini 12-05-2001 05:37 PM

Hey guys....First of all, let me apologize for not answering you sooner. I just finished reading pages 5 and 6 of this thread and had to catch my breath from the laughter!!! You guys are too much! (I'm still getting my bags unpacked from last weekend so I haven't had time to read.)

ThunderDan
From my point of view (remember...I had my eyes shut some of the time ) the AT was a great ride. I felt very safe in the boat. Given that we have 2 small children (3yrs and 10 months)..I was concerned about the reports of the boat flipping etc. Pat was extremely informative about that incident and also proved to me that in tight turns, the boat is safe if you know what you are doing. Just need to remember "Corvette, Corvette, not Cadillac, Cadillac" when cornering, Right Pat! :D I thought the ride was smooth and we had great seas to test it in. We are used to Lake Michigan and I have found that our Powerquest "pounds" somewhat when it lands...The AT did not. Just landed smoothly and not a rattle to be heard. Impressive! I also felt safe in the Sonic...I mean...It is a big heavy boat! However...it seemed heavy in the water too where the AT seemed to get up and fly!

Miller:

I like the idea of the heart rate monitor. Of course, we wouldn't have got off the trailer had anyone been monitoring mine that day. Something about saltwater and sharks etc. Go figure. :)

Jassman:

Well...where do I start with you!!!! I read about the 90mph club :D Not sure you want me with you when you hit 90! 2 kids do leave you breastless  Gotta Love those "Waterbras"....now if they can just come up with a waterbikini. Oops...my secret is out!! However...I do like the sunpad idea....Hope nobody is allergic to Latex  Thunderwear...hmm...Thong Thunderwear...Say that three times fast! I wanted to offer to be one of those model boat babes you see in the ads, just so I could ride on all the cool AT's, but figured Pat and Steve wanted someone whose eyes weren't squeezed shut and fists clenched on the handrail  Now that Steve is redoing his ad...I will be backpedalling quickly! :D

Well, I have given my .02 ...now it is up to H20 to decide. I'm sure he will post more when he gets his ducks all in a row. Gotta love buyin a boat, huh...Decisions Decisions

Tbikini 12-05-2001 05:40 PM

Hey ActiveThunder...I thought we weren't letting anything out about those "poker run checkpoints"...Mr. Commando 4x4 guy :D

thunderdan 12-05-2001 06:37 PM

Tbikini,
cool post. You fit in just fine.\, what a great addition you will make, thunder or not you guys can hang with us whenever you want. I sent h20 an e-mail and I hope he takes me up on it.

Oh yeah, there is no place to start with Jassman, he is beyond help.
:D

I heard you need a penecilian shot to cure that nasty virus you got.

:D :D

Miller 12-05-2001 07:33 PM

Dan,

Are you staying in the city next week? If so, check out the Waldorf, as they have cut rates to $159 per night for a deluxe room. I know several of the guys are planning on staying so they don't have to drive back. Sounds like some are planning to have a REALLY GOOD TIME! Maybe Pat and JASSMAN should be flying up for this outing???

[ 12-05-2001: Message edited by: Miller ]

thunderdan 12-05-2001 07:36 PM

What happened to my post? I was making fun of Jassman and his virus, he must have gotten that pennacilin shot.

That virus is going around. There were two threads this week about it. :(

thunderdan 12-05-2001 07:50 PM

Miller,

Still have not deceided. I may have a real early meeting the following day in Delaware so I might drive home that night. Guess I will not be indulging too much in the liquid refreshemts if that is the case. :( But, I do not need to drink to have a good time, well at least that is what they told me to say in my meetings... :D :D

ActiveThunder 12-05-2001 07:52 PM

T-D, I thought you were de-programmed in those meetings, too.

Miller 12-05-2001 08:11 PM

TD, don't worry. I don't drink and still know how to enjoy myself. I'll show you the ropes... :D

Pat, where have you been hiding?

thunderdan 12-05-2001 08:21 PM

Pat,

Well, I seemed to be able to throw one or ten back my last trip to Fla. It must have been the influence of Steve. I think that any deprograming on me only seems to last a max duration of 24 hours? :D :D
Miller,
You know it is kinda like that song from a while back, you don't have to take your clothes off, to have good time, ohh nooo, well in this case those lovely lace ambasssadors do  , but I do not need the one burbon, one scotch. one beer.

ActiveThunder 12-05-2001 08:23 PM

George T. The man.

Jassman 12-05-2001 08:24 PM

Im back, guys and gals. Had to work late, trying to finish this house by the deadline. THUNDER DAN, Pennacilian my ass, you had asked about some ambassadors, the only ones in the cabin with you will be Rosey and her four friends. :p MILLER, I wish I could leave right now but have two huge projects that have just started and cant leave for at least a month in a half, Steve and Pat are probably saying, thank god, We couldnt handle another almost as anel retentive guy like Thunder Dan, Whoa  Also today I found out Im going to get a visit from my friends, the IRS, your typical audit, middle of January, so that blows that trip. THONG BIKINI, trust me you'll look just fine in latex, we can have the guys who airbrush the boats give us a little assistance,(just like in New Orleans) also on the sunpad we can have matching airbrushed straps to hold you down while going 90 for the shoot. Man, I can see it now, 5 beautiful thonged latexed gals, and JASSMAN(me) driving the new 42, oh yah, I forgot about the grand Pooba in the cabin :o
ONLY IN JASSLAND :D

ActiveThunder 12-05-2001 08:25 PM

Miller, Caught a bad case of the "clap" Only e-mailing from the house until they sort it out. Bad download, bbbbaaadddd.

thunderdan 12-05-2001 08:25 PM

Absolutely, gotta love his music. I do not see Steve on this thread too much, must be busy creating that new ad. So sorry steveo. :D :D NOT....... ;)

Pat,

what do you think of the new slogans for the ads? :D

[ 12-05-2001: Message edited by: thunderdan ]

thunderdan 12-05-2001 08:32 PM

Jeff,

Ahhhh, come on, please do not take my cabin toys away, I promise I wil behave like a good boy. :D :D I am just breaking them in for you Jeff. Anal retentive my ass. :D

Sorry to hear about the IRS audit. You definetly catch some chit, I do not want. :D :D I do like that town called jassland. I can see myself being a permenant resident.

That clap is hard to shake Pat. Especially when it attaches to your equipment. Then everyone you touch gets the clap.

We need to get you some firewall programs, and some anti-virus medicine. Make sure you stay clear of Diane, you do not want to be explaining that one. Been there done that.(kidding) :o :D :D
