My biggest one was the fact the decks on the open bow and closed bow were the same, and because of this the deck port hole was sunkin down and when they cut the open bow this causes a funnel effect if you ever get caught in the rain, the water will funnel under the open bow and into the cabin, there isnt any drains so it would have to be vacumed out more of a pain than anything.

The 27 has more room than any other 27 I have been in. It's not the fastest boat, but it is very spacious for it's size and its overall a great handling boat. I have 2 friends who also went with Advantage. They're good for their intended purpose and that is to be a good all around boat. I use mine for tubing, Catalina trips, cruising, everything. Good luck with your search.

I picked up a 07 28br last spring. Best boat I've ever had. Cuts waves like butter and handles great. Runs high 50"s to low 60"s on a good day. Alot of storage, room everywhere. Their gel coat is sweet aswell. Here's my email. [email protected] if want email me and i will send some pics of the boat inside and out so you can check on out.

Could be, but I know Randy has been changing things there and Kevin, the shop guy from Advantage is now the GM at Nordic. Talked to him at the LA Boat show. Kevin is the one guy who NEVER steered me wrong or sugar coated any info at Advantage.

Nordic has been and still is a great boat in my eyes, when I got my last advantage the only reason I didnt get a nordic was I liked the second row of bolsters. I believe the nordic is lighter in weight, therefore they are faster, but still very well made and very solid, I wouldnt have any trouble owning one.
