Did you get that boat out yet snapmorgan? Curious if the -2 helped & if you were able to p/u some rpms for a bigger prop.
I picked up about 400 rpm, but not enough to have to prop up. |
Good to hear you had some nice results. I would think with 575hp you should be running a tad faster though. What are your slip numbers on the top end? What rpm are you spinning and what's the rev limiter set at?

Haven't put the numbers into a slip calculator yet. Running 5500 rpm with the B1 and the Hydromotive, 5800 rpm with the labbed 24B1. Engine just off dyno, made 567hp. Rev limit set at 6300. Mine is the bowrider version. It is a little heavier and more bow heavy. Plus it is full of stuff. I need to take an inventory and remove about half of the crap in it that we don't ever use. Engine makes max torque at 4000 and max hp at 5200. I have a 25 3blade that I am going to try. Might be able to pull a 5 blade 23 or 24. have you tried anything like that?

Toms rig hauls for sure, I hope to bum a ride in it in the next week. When you say you made 567 on the dyno what exhaust and accessories were you running on that dyno? Uncle Dave |
turning all accessories and raw water pump. Had a set of Dynatech headers with EGT sensors installed. I am running Imco power flow's in the boat.

There is a 25 Hydromotive in the swap shop right now, what do you think? On the 24's the Hydromotive wanted to blow out pretty bad taking off. The Bravo 1 had much better bite, but i could blow it loose if I wanted.
