Are you guy's OK.......
Hey Boy's,
Hope you are all OK, as I have not seen any posts for some time.
Everything here is OK. Went to Havasu last weekend with a couple buddies, the gal's & kids.
Weather was great 105-108 or so and the water was nice.
Went by Advantage and saw Bob & Bill. They had a used 22' Citation BR in the showroom for sale and I put a deposit on it for another one of our friends.
It has about 25 hours on it and they wanted 40K for it. It has the 6.? MPI motor in it and should do high 50's to low 60's I think.
Anyway, it's their first boat and my buddy with the 260 Eagle and I thought it was a great deal.
Hopefully they take delivery next week.
Look forward to seing some of you at this years regatta.
Regards,
Christopher Gibbons

Hey chris, all is well here, I know a guy here has a 2000 or 2001 21sr with a 300 promax on it and he is looking to sell it, not sure of the price, but it's a closed bow, and runs upper 70's I think, not sure of the speeds or price, but if anyone's looking let me know. Mine's always for sale too, time for a 40 when I sell it, after I build a couple of 540's to drop in it.

Whats up?
I have a friend who is looking for a boat. He has seen mine and is considering the 34 offshore as a next purchase. Unfortunately for him, I'm not selling mine. Anyone here know of anyone wanting to sell a 34???

There is that 34 here, I've seen it in advantage ad's before, it's all white with a purple barbed wire graphic, if I see him out I'll see what he say's, but I think it's new to him so it may not be for sale, but that would be unusual if it wasn't, every boat's for sale! I don't know about the regatta this year, but maybee, are you going chris. I'm too geeked about it finally being nice and hot here and going out to possibly think about the end of the season yet!!

I finally realized after many, many years of going to Havasu on Holiday weekends that it is getting to dam crowded. I don't mind regular weekends. Uncle Toys is going to be there. Give him a shout on the general discussion board.

4th & Regatta !!
I agree, the 4th is crazy, but we keep well away from the crowds when possible. I went for the 4th for the first time last year and had a good time...........
........all except the part when I ran into some shallow rocks in my buddies "Brand-New-Eliminator-260 Eagle" and took out the prop & skeg !!!!!!
.........Well.......It was at night and the fireworks had just finished.......and all of a sudden...........a ****-LOAD of boats came out of knowhere.............and I was forced to idle towards shore.......Then I saw the harbor bouy.......only it wasn't the harbor bouy..........It was an obsticle bouy............OUCH !!!!
Well.....To repair the prop & skeg was about $ 300.00 so I got off cheap..........I still apologize to my buddy each trip out.
He has since had to change out the IMCO lower & prop, due to a "similar Occurrence"........so I feel just slightly better, but not much. I haven't even done such a thing to my own boats !!!!
Well.....Have a good time at Powell and hope to see you at Havasu on the off weekend.
Rob......Try to make the Regatta........If you want to leave the boat behind, you can hitch a ride with us. Between my friends and I, we have (4) Advantages and a nice Eliminator!!!!!
Come on Out !!!!!!
