What is the thickness of the material and what kind of material did you use? Are all the threaded holes helicoiled?

Papache, how to the internals bolt up? Can you still use a plug-in tailstock, or do you need a drive-line with a flange on the output? How does the drive engage? Does the drive yoke engage with a female spline?
I don't see any access panels, so that must mean that all connections are made either inside the transom or from outside the gimbal. Does the box have an internal shaft that is supported with carrier bearings? Please explain.
Now, if we could just get the raised x-dim problem solved without having to jack up the motors, we'd be in biz!
Thanks,
Brian
