Art, for what reason are your stringers on top of the tunnel moved in a little? Also I love those hatches; tried to lift/remove the standard hatch off by myself and nearly sealed myself in>:drink: Seems like that is a great spot to focus on reducing tonnage. Are the side by side hatches still avail?

Congrats!!! A True look at what these hulls are capable of. Thanks for all the info on you awesome rig. I guess its time to turn mine up:eek: What diameter are the wheels and do you by chance know the rake? I am told the rake can aid with bow lift. I too would like to see pics of the tab.

that is where we have been putting the stringers since 2000. no The molds for the hatches were lost when we moved the molds to california in 2007. we haven't had many requests for the 3100 in the past couple of years so we haven't built replacement hatch molds. |

I tooled an entirely new boat in four months. Depending on style and design, a hatch would take less than two weeks. I have a 1999 3100 I wouldnt mind eliminating about 100 pounds from...(along with all the hassle of cleaning the fabric)
How many of us would really be that interested in doing it? |

the AO opening is 46.75" x 82.5 wide. I don't know about the awsome opening. I think several AO owners and new customers would like the fiberglass hatches. I get a couple of calls per month asking about them,

On an AO if you swithed to the two piece setup what would happen to the head rests? I would like to eliminate the multiple layered heavy wood hatch on mine.
