No, the air intakes that were always planned. When the boat was in the Ft. Lauderdale boat show it was not finished yet, for instance, there was no wiring under the dash board. The boat had NOT been run before that show, it couldn't. Those intakes were spec'd to the customer in the original contract. The customer wanted a full sunpad with no crap sticking up so Mark came up with that mod. They open when the boat reaches 1200 - 1500 rpm. Get the full story before posting inaccurate information. Nice try though, I give it an 8 on the Troll-O-Meter(tm).

I think the air intakes is a very cool idea. Think about it, at below 1500rpm, you don't need them, and above 1500 rpm, there better not be anyone laying on the sun pad.
