Bobby stepped 2 36's one is owned by my buddy here in GH, the other is owned by Canda Jeff here on the board. They have one 1.5" step about 4 to 5 foot from the transom, Bobby also built one of my buddys a 28 single with this setup, all of these boats work great. Steve
