Sorry.
Wasn´t allowed/didn´t dare to take photos of it but the boat reminds a lot of a Scarab Meteor and is a Miami built splash, that´s all the owner told me. He had a legal battle of the boatbefore he got it to himself although he had been paying evertime he was asked to do so promptly. And one day he got a note the boat´s being confiscated.

The drives are like Trimaxes, with a rudder.

The Guy is a character to say the least... first sight on the yard of his shop was an Antonov AN-2 airplane.... among a spare Tank engine and a million other things.
Also found out this guy was because of the Legal battle over the boat quite Anti-American that´s why he chose overkill Russian engines, just to piss people off I reckon.

Boat is looking good but why are you trying to sell it? You won't get much for it now...

Looking to start a new project. I actually pulled it from the market a while ago.

It is everything and more that you would expect. I was fortunate enough to be invited to go for a ride during the Fairhaven Mass poker run of Billy Frenz on Saturday.

UNFORTUNATELY......the water wasn't very big at all, but we did run right up front with a couple of Skater cats, one with turbines and another with sterndrives. This boat ran wherever it wanted to.

The boat is really a credit, first to the owner, who went about this project correctly and then to the many people involved in South Florida who did the actual work. One name I didn't see mentioned, but should have been, is Mike Mears for the interior work...Finleline Interiors perfect as usual.

This ride brought back many memories of racing back in the day and I am sure this boat will go on to become a legend in it's own right over the years to come....Excellent.

I also spoke to the owner of bring the boat back to Florida next February for the Miami to Key West HORBA race. More for the experience than the racing itself. Hopefully he will come and the world will see one of these great boats in the open ocean again.

Some people have asked me the difference in this boat with twins and the other 47's that were set up with triples.

The boat below I throttled with triple Keith Eickert's, but with older technology. This boat of Johns with the new Sterlings had as much punch and get up and go as the triples did.....it was a very impressive ride. Just shows you how much technology has helped high perfomance boating advance over the years.
