I've been Scott's first mate on probably half his rides on the Chief.....including a couple poker runs and many rough water runs. This boat performs awesome!!! Strong 41 hull with vintage original graphics (real head turner), Chief power, 3A drives.....all in excellent condition. If I didn't currently own two boats and a jetski, I would buy this boat in a heartbeat!!! Don't sell it Scott.....it's too dialed in to let it go.

Any serious buyer should jump on this opportunity....it's a great value for the money.

Thanks Saber! We've heard this over and over again by many reliable people who frequent this board.

We are looking forward to our trip to see her tomorrow, taking her out and finally meeting Scott. He and Rob have talked many hours on the phone regarding The Chief.

I promise you that if we do bring her home, she will be well maintained, taken care of and yes, loved dearly (you have no idea how much she'll be loved....you've never met my husband and his passion for boats, in particular, Apaches. :D ).

Survey should take place sometime this week and hopefully she'll be heading to Mentor at some point next week.

Finally got to ride on her Saturday afternoon. Boat ran (and sounded) awesome! Too bad it wasn't 3 to 4's instead of a few rollers and boat wakes (I didn't think Lake Michigan was capable of being flat---only when we were sea trialing the Apache :D ). And I can't believe I wanted 3 to 4's....that's not the Barb I know! :cool-smiley-027:

Scott, thank you for everything! Your hospitality, lunch, the ride, your time. I have lots of pics but not sure how to download them because it's not my camera. Once I figure that out we'll post some pics.

Grand Haven is a hull from Fairport, but only one way! Took us 6 hours to get there on Friday with all the traffic and construction........we left Grand Rapids at 6PM and arrive in Mentor by 10PM.....not bad!

We're tired but are excited to get the boat home in anticipation that people will look, wave and stare at her the way they did when we were running down the water and the road! Wow is that Apache big!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :Score-101010:
