Rumor has it The Chief will be heading down I-96 to I-80 onto Route 2 for her delivery to Mentor Lagoons sometime in the afternoon on Friday. We'll try and find out an approximate time and post it. Might need some help....she's big! :D :D

The smile hasn't left Rob's face since yesterday! We are excited. Forecast for the weekend is 2 to 4's, building to 3 to 5's......as Rob would say, that's Apache water! :D :D

The guy where the Apache is nstored is who's bringing her down. He just happens to have a trip planned to Monroe MI which isn't far from the OH/MI border, so he's offered to meet up with us in Sandusky or deliver it all the way. Rob's working the entire weekend so we felt having her delivered was the best at this point.

We'll take you up on the offer if we need some help. Thanks!

Well, delivery of the Apache is delayed until Monday. :(

We can get the boat to Monroe MI on Friday, but Rob has to work Friday and can't take the time to meet him up there, and Ben's unable to deliver to Mentor due to work comittments on Friday.

Soooooo, new delivery day is Monday. We'll meet Ben in Sandusky and bring her home from there. I'll be taking 1/2 the day off to meet her arrival and bring her home.

It's ok that it's delayed. Rob has so much work this weekend, he said it would have killed him to have the boat sitting on the lift while he was working all weekend. :D :angry-smiley-044:

Call Nykamp see if he can do it!!! (Today)

Speaking of Nykamp, I haven't seen him on the thread or seen him since before we went up to Grand Haven to check out The Chief. :cool-smiley-026:

He has been at his cabin up north without any internet all week. Will be home this weekend.

Either way, It's good to have another Injun in NE Ohio.

We have lift in Mentor Lagoons that we bought last year.We are about 10 slips up from BRD.

We have friends who own a home on the lagoon- I'll look for your boat when we're up.
