I have about 3 weeks to get the boat Done!!!!, I want to have it ready for the OPA offshore race in O.C. Maryland. Man that is a short time and alot of work!!!, I hope I get it done.

I am afriad Im going to have to replace the motors, or aleast strip them down to the blocks, I am at a loss right now, I have no Idea what to do, Summer is hear, boat does not run and I am losing time. I want to get another boat, and sell this one, but I have alot tied into this boat, This sucks

The boat will be finished for this summer, but it will cost me more money than I thought, but i have something in the works for motors right now. Both motors ran when I got the boat, but I dont trust the left motor, so I am just going to replace both

Wow, that sux, but i'm sure you'll pull it off.
But all this is not shocking and nothing new, as most guys run into this situation. Me included.
As I've said to andy... if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
As someone said recently on this site...
"The purchase price is just one piece of the equation. It's a much more active relationship with a boat. When you see a beautiful old boat out on the water doing 70, someone's been spending some money."
But all this is not shocking and nothing new, as most guys run into this situation. Me included.
