Yes I have looked at that boat, it looks like junk, the motors look like they need Serious work, it looks like a money pit, if you can the boat for 5,000 it might be a deal, I dumped 17,000 in fiberglass work into my old Apache 28 and it was in way better cond then that boat!!!!! just go back and check out my restoration thread, it will tell you everything you need to know.

Come to think of it you have nothing but negative things to say about every other 28 apache since you got yours shined up, including mine. Just how much experience do you have with 28 apaches when you paid someone to do all the fiberglass work and sold it after it broke down on the first two runs? Look guys - if you like the boat - go look at it. If your too far away see if an OSO member will stop by and take a look. If you have questions regarding the construction of the 28 and common problems talk to Bob Saccenti, or Eric Froberg. Both are very accessible. Take these forums with a grain of salt.

Does anyone have any information on the 28 Brave that is for sale in the classified section? I am interested in a "small" project boat, but it would need to be able to run while in the process of being redone. I have wanted an Apache for a little while, and think this might be a fairly inexpensive way to get into one and fix it up a bit...
any and all input is welcome.
Thanks guys!
Chris

I'd do it all over again if I had the choice, but I also have a second boat. For me, I could spend $100K on this boat and it would be worth every penny.

If Nancy could spend 100k on that boat he would have engines.
He says that they have been pulled, but we doubt it highly. They are in the bilge where Nancy left them. Pooched.
The second boat the he mentions... is that the sea ray that he said on a different thread belongs to his folks?

Again you guys avoid the topic by belittling me and my boat. I guess I need to go take a pic of my engine bay
Lets stick to the facts cupcake - you don't know any more about that boat than the guy who was asking about it.
