The Deck of that legend looks nothing like a gun, apache, nothing at all, its completely flat, has a rounded up straight across fairing and is really just a clean line with no bumps, grooves, raised center sections nothing its just completely flat, no rails nothing at all.
Actually after writing that it makes it sound sort of boring looking on the deck but again ist just flat as a board.

I know the history... when Bobby went to Don he only had a hull mold so they used a TG deck is what I believe.

I like the Legend, I think you may have misunderstood me.

It looks badder than ever this season. He blew past me a couple of weekends ago with the hatch off. This past winters upgrades look like they are very impressive.

This boat has had some serious upgrades since that video was shot.

Might be a half breed, but it is still one bad mofo..

As long as it was done in conjunction with Apache back then, it isnt a knock off per say. It is a joint effort. i look at it with the rolled/seamless rail as the first gladiator, just 41 feet, it is an impressive boat. But I don't get why everyone seems to think that everyone is jealous of it? I see many impressive pieces of machinery in my business, but I for one am never jealous. I just appreciate the technology of it...

First off i don't own an Apache but have lusted after them. Even gave " Predator " some serious thought about 4 years ago when it was on the market. So here is my $ 02.

I don't think this boat should be called a "fake" Apache. It was based on the Apache hull that was LEASED according to Jay13. That means it is NOT a splash but actually used the hull design because they properly leased and paid for the mold usage. It is not called an Apache, but a Legend. I think the exhaust treatment they have on the transom is very unique and innovative along with the rigging in the boat. The builder put some real thought into this and frankly some of the top builders/riggers today can learn something from this boat. I saw it idle past me on LOTO in 2007 and it is a neat boat.
