Awsome boat

I was in KW in 1999 sitting on my Black Thunder Just outside the bay watching him test that boat

It was wicked loud and on of the best understated paint jobs i have ever seen the long lines made the boat look 50 feet long

I would love to own the boat

so what ever happen to the molds or the guy who built this boat ???

Nice! I remember seeing it at the Aqua Toy Store several years back and checking out the rigging. Some of the best I have ever seen. I even liked the paint scheme and choice of colors.

Isn't White Lightening deemed the fasted V-bottom on Grand Lake?

Nice clean-up and updated lines on that rig, I've always been a fan. The boat was running pretty well in the video, seemed to have good balance and angle of attack.

As for the "deck molds" not being made "available" by Apache. I thought they never had any and just used a top gun deck mold, cut it, fit it and built the fairling. Maybe a deck mold was made in the later days but I think the early ones were modified tg decks?

Well if you want to go back back back in the history books, the original 41 apache was based off of a cigarette mold to begin with so they have always been cousins of each other when you really think about it.

It's at Lake of the Ozarks, not Grand Lake and no it isn't the fastest V nor the fastest cat at LOTO either.

Thats not a knock on the boat either. The fastest V that I am aware of is Stampede at the lake and its a 140ish V. Maybe more with the winter remake.

The Deck of that legend looks nothing like a gun, apache, nothing at all, its completely flat, has a rounded up straight across fairing and is really just a clean line with no bumps, grooves, raised center sections nothing its just completely flat, no rails nothing at all.
Actually after writing that it makes it sound sort of boring looking on the deck but again ist just flat as a board.

WAS A CIG. DON THREW IT IN THE DEAL. IF BEN DIDNT BUY THE 35 AND 46 IT WOULD BE A CIG.
