If the boat was fully dialed in with labbed props that may be possible but it looks like 90-91 is going to be it.
I spoke with Bobby today about the setup of HH vs. the Chief because I was curious to see how they compare.
Hammerhead has 600 inch blown engines making 940 hp, stock 30" 4 blade props, six pack, staggered, spinning 6K rpm's with a covergirl cabin. She runs 90-91 mph.
The Chief has 588 inch blown engines, 950 hp, stock 32" 4 blade props spinning 6100 rpms, staggered, raised deck, full cabin and cabin liner. She runs just under 100 mph.
Both are heavier and comparable in weight, set up similarly, same bottom with the exception of the steps, similar hp and the Chief is close to 10 mph faster. I don't think the 10 hp is making the Chief run faster so it must be the bottom freeing up some speed.
I have some good baseline numbers for comparison.

The race boats that I have had with #6's when fueled to the max the drives are under water up to 6" depending on CG but when you come back they are out of the water and you can stand on them without getting your feet wet!!!!! So just keep that in mind for future reference!!! pleasure boat will sink the nose more because of the forward weight and bring the back up out of the water!!!
Don't let the pictures fool you the boats in race set-up without #6's will sit higher because of the lighter weight!!!!!

I agree. In general Apaches were all over the map when it came to weight. One will weigh 9K lbs and the other 15k lbs. One has 1/2" plywood, the other has 3/4" plywood. The race hulls were lighter and the pleasure hulls were heavy. Some will run 100 mph with 800's and others barely 100 mph with 1100's.

A race 41 with blower motors and #6's full of fuel probably has 3 tons in the engine room at that point!!! And depending on the location of certain rigging the balance point is probably roughly 15' from the transom give or take a little!!!!

Like I said, lots of politics going on behind the scenes with this... But, we can't deny the weights were all over the place with light race, race, 1/2 cabin, fullcabin with liner etc.....

Now in a race boat configuration there's 4 saddle tanks in the engine room that hold 45-60 gals of fuel each depending on boat but for arguments sake lets go with the 45 gallon tanks that's 180 x 7 = 1260lbs in the ass of the boat alone then you have 2500lbs of blower motors then you have the exhaust which is another substantial amount of weight depending on whose you use lets not forget all the rigging and where it's located some batteries were in the back some not some trim pumps were in the back some not then you have trans and drives and sixes have a 10" setback in the transom assembly so that puts the weight further back versus the 3, 4, or 5 which is closer and lighter.
Again compare apples to apples or oranges to oranges not apples to oranges!!!!
