Looking for pic of 41 yellow apache, with "41 APACHE" airbrushed on black dash panel
Does ANYONE have the pic or set of photos that showed a yellow 41 apache with a black dash board that had "41 APACHE" airbrushed in orange and yello, and some red and white feathers airbrushed across the dash panel? It was a Race model
One of the photos showed it on a forklift. Other photos I believe had it sitting on a work race. Had race hatches 3 man or 6 man (I believe it was a 3 man but dont remember) I dont believe it had a name. If it did had a name I dont believe it was shown in any of the photos I saw. The photo set had about 4-6 shots of it. If ANYONE has this set of photos or more importantly has the photo of the dash showing the "41 Apache" and the Red and White feathers, that would be GREATLY appreciated. I need to see this photo as fast as I can, I want to check the font and see what the font style was if I can identify it. Feel free to post the photos up or post a link if possible or if needed, email them would be great too. [email protected] Thank you all, Hope this message finds everyone doing well. Thanks J |

Do you remember the date or approximate date when you tried to look at the boat? Wasn't there some other guy who said he was trying to buy the boat?

Panther, Thank you VERY much, thats the one. I needed those photos of the dash. I am painting the tail gate of my truck and I already did the feathers, they are all airbrushed on there already exact duplicates from memory but I could not for the live of me remember the lettering font. The font is that old west "WANTED" font
Now I got it, but I dont think I am going to use the same font. I want something a little more cartoony. But this was a huge help. Thank you again J |

Usually when someone has a phone number listed outside the US, that screams fishy to quite a few people. Might be more adequate if you post what your interest is in this rig. That might help you out some. Panther, thank you again!! |

917 is NYC area code |
Wait a minute here. I'm not connecting the dots real well on this one. This was the Lamborghini powered 41 that was redone. What is the whole story from start to finish Mr. Schmahl? Something sounds a little odd.

601 is an aera code in Ms. My guess is the 800 number is US only. the outside us number is area code 601 to be called if your NOT in the U.S. TMS National seems to be a marine insurance appraisal outft. 3 boats listed as stolen on their site but no apache. Seems he reps. the insurance side of the boat being disappeared. paranoid fears alieved.

I was also told the in water shots were taken at Loggerhead Marina, Riviera Beach FL. Lastly, I saw some pictures of transom work done at Gaudado Marine but that the owner denied they ever worked on it and some "cuban guy" did the work. http://www.guardadomarine.com/images...nsom/index.htm That's all the info that I know.... |

The 41' Apache Running Bear was indeed stolen, I am unable to locate the classified you are referencing, I am not all that familiarized with OffshoreOnly.com and would appreciate the classified. I am responsible for locating the boat on behalf of the insurer. Matthew Schmahl, 24 hour phone 917 608 6242.

Is this a repeat of similar events with the owner involved in a disappearance ?? Difficult to follow with all the different posters here.
Kinda ballsy if it is with the other events in the courts. Can someone clarify? |
Really? I doesn't seem to be related to me but it does seem like it has the potential to be some more stolen parts, no?

This is clearly the same boat, or at least the same parts from that boat. If the hatches are in the pictures, the boat most likely isn't more than a few feet away. Unknow if the seller knows it's hot though, although...
I wasnt thinking about the current owner that was parting it out. There is someone on here working for an insurance company to find the boat. That tells me there was a payout. Who got paid out ?? |

It's not my place to tell the story, but yes, the original owner got paid. And it appears to be a small world. ;)

Oh wow, last year i seen it in person at AQUA TOY STORE and nobody made the impression it was stolen.... i thought its still there !?
|
So...let me get this straight:
This Apache gets stolen, never to be seen again (until a couple days ago), the former owner (victim) settles with insurance and now the parts show up on OSO for sale? Is that right?... Someone's got to know more about this. |
