I am not an expert on mounting the conversion package but those drives look like they are mounted very high. You want an Arneson setup as low as you can get it without dragging anything in the water.

Somehow I have in my mind that this red pleasure one had V12 BPMs and Arnesons but There was an Italian entry a White 41 with Lambo Merc (SSM) package racing in Key West.

That one is ex 'Giesse' and was used by Ferretti in endurance racing in '93 and as such I think it is more likely that they used a pair of these:
