Those factors could be said for just about any company. It would also be sweet if the person, who made the deal for the 47 mold, would fulfill his promises and pay the $25,000 he owes. If the promises were fulfilled, I don't believe I could find much wrong with Saber.

First off, nothing against Saber. They are badass boats but i think about it like this. A kit car cobra (i.e Factory Five MK4) utilizes more advanced components arguably making its performance and build quality much better than an original Shelby AC cobra. However, we all know which car brings more money on the auction block. The kit car lacks the true history and direct tie to the man himself. Consequently, while the kit car remains a quality product, it is deemed less desirable and will forever remain less valuable. One may argue this example does not reflect the prices of Apaches vs. Sabers but the point I'm trying to make lies in the allure of an Apache vs. a Saber

Bingo! We have a winner here.

does that deal have anything to do with you???

also yea that can be said about any company but we're talking about a 41 that has a history of destroying its competiton in rough seas. besides a 41 saber don't think any other company that can compare

I am the one helping Jerry's widow Kristen sell Clifford. I have had the pleasure of riding on Clifford a half a dozen times with Jerry only in rough water of course and I would have to say that is the best riding boat I have ever been on.
I also ran Clifford at the end of last season with Kristen and the two boys it was during the week so not to many people saw us out there, we ran to Kelly's, PIB and sandusky.
The only bad part was the lake was too flat and couldn't really enjoy the ride. One thing that surprised me about Clifford was the mid range cruise speed on this 41' straight bottom boat, I have been on stepped 1075 boats capable of a much higher top speed, but with a much slower mid range. At 3500 RPM Clifford will cruise all day long at 65 MPH and at 3800 RPM it runs 73 MPH and this was a flat lake, I am sure some lake Erie chop would have made those numbers a little higher.
I have to admit that nothing is more impressive looking than a big boat with full staggered motors running big polished roots style blowers with dual quads. I also have to admit that the only super charged motors I would run in a boat would have high efficiency screw type blowers with fuel injection, preferably multi port.
The Merc 1075 is a very advanced power package that idles like a HP 500, but is capable of pushing a large pleasure boat well over a hundred MPH. With muti port injection you get great fuel distribution that will give you longer engine life and burn less fuel and the screw type blowers have less parasitic loss than a roots blower also saving fuel.
With some simple math we can all figure that Jerry had $500,000 plus in this boat and trailer, with a lot less money you can have one bad ass boat that looks as good as the day he brought it home.
Another nice thing about a 1075 is after you remove that high tech induction system it's just a 557 CID big block Chevy under there, nothing scary.

I have a lot of pictures of Clifford and some information that I would be happy to share with any serious buyer.

Both are great boats with an amazing ride, I used to detail a few Apaches and all the Sabers. I miss Jerry a ton, wish he was still here! These boats are all different , you can not compare any Apache to another because they where all done one off builts that there is likely no 2 alike. Floor height to every thing about the boat was custom built to the original owner specs. I am old school I like Apaches Kevlar lay up better, each to there own. Been in big water in both, my wife an I are in Clifford in the smoke video, great day with Jerry and Kristen. I hope somebody grabs Cliifford like Dan did with WW, and truly loves her like Jerry did and care for her.

Not much different then names. Been in all 4 of the 41's Saber put out and multiple 41 apaches and seem to all ride amazing. Been 105 in Clifford, 108 in WW, 102 in ancestral and 94 in the triple after Tommy at Chief got his hands on it. Either way both names build the strongest boats.

you are my hero! ive never had the opportunity to ride in an apache! i would love to own a 41 with a stagger setup
