Sick Stinger,
Panther and Nykamp gave you what I know about the staggered 575 boat. It was also in the Miami Boat show. The only other thing is that I believe the bottom was changed/modified after she was already built and tested. I am not sure how it affected the performance. The '04 is somewhat of a mystery boat. The pics I have show it with no steps. I believe it was severely damaged in an accident while being towed on the trailer. I am not sure where it is now. Panther is right, call Bobby, and he can answer any of your questions about your boat. |

I thought that was the one but I could be wrong.
I think he owns a tanning business or something like that. Pretty sure this was the 575 boat. Maybe it wasn't stepped?. |
I am almost positive the staggered 575 boat was stepped originally. Maybe the bottom work I heard about years ago included filling in the step??
|
Both 2004's had there steps filled in by Thad's group.

I have been told several times by a credible source only 4 exist

So filling the step I would figure slowed it down a bit but assume it had handling issues. From what I'm told the Twin step handle like a straight yet performance of the steps. If it was the best if both worlds wonder why it was changed to a single.
There is : The F2 mine The ohio one Staggered one And the 2 single step ? Sound correct I know one ended up on the beach I saw the pic but not sure what boat that was althought I'm sure some one here does. Thanks guy any more pics if these would be great. I'll have a build/rigging thread one I start on it in a few weeks |
I have personally taken the f2 boat through a sharp turn at 75 with 0 issue or even a hint of instability. Yet it runs into the 90's with warmed up hp500's. best of both worlds in my book.
