Default 36 37 Stepped Warrior

Hey guy just picked up the 2000 warrior from Smokin Gun. Have a couple of questions
1 How many were actually built I counted 5?
2 What power to MPH could I be looking at?
3 Is it a 36 or 37?
4 Is it a true apache? As it came from the 36 mold as far as I can tell.
5. Why on a short run of them? Legal issues with Nutech & Apache?
I know I'll have a lot more questions as I rig. Thanks and sorry for the questions list just would like the history.

I think from reading history of Apache, Saccenti split off from Kramer and started building the 36,28 & 21 under Apache Powerboats. While Kramer stayed in Miami and built the 41 & 47 under Apache Marine. Something like that........

Bobby built a single step in 2001 and one in 2002 the 01 had Merc 575 and ran 90 at lake X, the 02 ran 80/82 with Merc 500's. They ride great and I believe are wood free so there way lighter then the old ones. The 02 sat a foot higher in the water then my speed master 94.

Sick Stinger, nice ride. I have a few pieces of history for you. I believe there were (6) twin step 36' "Apache by Newtech" boats made from '99 to '00. Bobby was involved in the builds, and Richie Powers was involved in sales. I had heard a while back that Lattitude Powerboats provided the lamination for them. I rode in a '99 w/500HPs on Biscayne Bay. She ran well, 78 MPH with 6 adults. In '00 Bobby and Eric got together and built a few single step 36's. I have owned an older non step 36', and currently own an '01 Single Step, and can vouch for the performance gains over the older models. My 94' ran 78 with 600 Eickerts, and the '01 runs 86 with 575SCi's. Enjoy your new ride.

Hess thanks this is the info I was looking for and the direction of info wanted. Can you shed light on this one? I haven't seen any comments or even talk of an 04 but something about a stag 01 I believe.
