Steve, The Apache logo is vinyl and I think the previous owner had it made. It says Apache at the top and Powerboats on the bottom. The only painted graphic is the indian head itself. I don't want to get involved with trademark talk, but the boat is a 1995 so maybe that is why it didn't have a factory painted logo.

dont be confused..........that is an "apache performance boat"not an apache powerboat.2 differant things......m.m....

Hey Mark, Not trying to start something, I was just stating what the vinyl logo says. I just went out and uncovered her to double check and the Vinyl logo definately says power not performance on it. Evidently the previous owner didn't get the memo when he had the vinyl logos made (I might end up removing them).

No confusion here, I did my research before I bought her. I choose not to take sides but I can say that I have a great deal of respect for the builders of both Apache Powerboats, and Apache Performance boats and I feel very fortunate to have one.

Mine is a 95' as well, no painted logo on the hull either. Only two Indian Heads, one in the foward v-berth and one in the rear seat but they're not nickel heads.

Hi Jay!13, No that`s not one of mine. Looks like Joey Earls style. Joey did some beautiful paintwork for Apache just after Ben`s fall. Most of the team took some time off after Ben was taken away ! ! Can`t be sure.

Thanks Gail.I have been following my 28 for about 12 years and your work is awesome.I think by boat initially reminded me of allez vite.One of my favorite Apaches.

Hi Lucy hope all is well.Glad to see Mark has recovered well after the accident.I had a wreck sept. 25 and broke my neck.Was told by doctors i would not boat again but i am recovering well.Probably limp forever and left hand problems but glad to be alive.I have a picture of Marks caddy on my Apache wall at work.Im sure he will miss that beast !

Still have great pics on my computer !Say hi to Mark.

John I am very glad you are Ok and I hope you continue to get better and next time you are in FL will go back for that great Italian food! That picture bring back memories!... Keep strong and don't ever give up if boating is what you love doing.. you will do it again! :p

I think the first part was in slo mo and the second part was speeded up. Maybe he was trying to set the film speed to the music? Anyway that was some pretty rough water!
