We figure that it is over 21,000 pounds loaded. The boat is around 13,000 pounds, the trailer is just under 7,000 pounds, the boat holds 400 gallons of fuel, the trailer holds 100 gallons of water and this is all before you add any personal gear to the boat or trailer. That's why we stepped up from the F-450 to the Peterbilt. We had to make the change to keep everything safe and legal.

Don't get me wrong. I am by no means complaining. That Pete is a pleasure to drive and it tows that boat down the highway like it's not even there. The best thing about the Pete is that you no longer have white knuckle moments like you occasionally get in a pickup because this things handles really well and will stop that load on a dime! I also cannot tell you how comfortable this thing is. You can honestly just turn up the tunes and sit back and relax while the people in the back stretch out and watch TV or a video/DVD. It really makes the long drives much easier and it makes the time fly by. Besides, if you like to stand out in a crowd, another plus is that you absolutely cannot miss a crew cab Peterbilt going down the highway pulling a 45' boat. Just make sure you are not in a hurry to get somewhere because you can't stop anywhere without drawing a crowd and answering all sorts of questions. It's all good though.

The 41 is to much for, I really need a 28.

Wannabe, What the hell is a gas fridge?
New paint? thats NEW?
God what the hell were they thinking?
To each their own I guess.
Will, Ya know, If I were one pumping diesel into the dually and you pulled up in that bohemoth, I would stop and talk to you too bud!
I realize these 41's with pleasure cabins get really heavy so im sure a 47 is really tipping the scales.

Like I said im sort of stuck with the innerlimits for now.
She is still in the paint process but should be done within next 2 months, then I think I am going to run the crap out of her for a year or so and see where I am at then. Who knows maybe my War Party will be back on the market then???
Or maybe Scott Grady can hook a brother up with a 47 War Party that needs some help
I would take that project on in a heart beat!

Nykamp, True but the War Party legacy is what I would be after not just a boat.

Jay13: Hey it's not my boat jus tryin' to help. This 41 seems to be priced much better than others. They used to produce a fridge that was cooled by propane- don't ask me how.

A 41 is lot easier to maintain and sell than a 47. That's why you see these them for sale. There was an all white 47 w/ triple 525's for sale a year ago for 125k.

call me greedy, But I would in a perfect world want both 47 war party as a project and 41 war party to run.
47 would take years to get back to perfect.!
Then I hold ALL the cards, the whole war party legacy in my own back yard!
