Check with Julie at Throttle-Up on some prop suggestions. She needs a good baseline amount of information BEFORE you contact her. I.E., max RPM, speed, X dimension, boat handling, etc. Hey, where are your boat pics?
I changed the 1 1/2" spacer to a three inch spacer and the boat handles great!!! 3" is the way to go!!!

Awsome cat owners, I just became one of the family

I have a 30ft, rigged for three outboards. The boat had 2.4 but I am thinking of three 2.5 offshore efi or 300 promax.

Does anybody run outboards on a 30ft AwsomeCat.

Trying to decide what motors to run & need your help.

Get pics as soon as I can

Thanks
Jeff

Welcome aboard Jeff. You are part of a rare breed. An Awesome with outboards. Did you buy the one that was for sale out east? Richard

PS. Mine are not outboards. 502 x 2.

Dont think so, I got it from a guy in Tulsa Ok.
He only had it one year.

I still have not found anybody with an outboard 30ft. Wonder if there is any out there

For what I have been told these things are heavy.
I trying to decide if I put 3 2.5 efi offshores or spend a little more money & get 3 300 promaxs.

Was told it only ran 70mph with 3 2.4 efi., but I know the 2.5 are much stronger motors. I have a 2.5 efi offshore on a STV & love it. but this is not the same.

Anybody have any idea what she would do with the 2.5 or the 300 promax.
Im trying to run 100 or close to it

Any help would be great. I live on the east coast & plan on running the poker runns next summer.

Hope to see you guys out on the water.
How fast does yours run with the inboards

Thanks
Jeff

Hi Dan... it's been a long time since we last spoke. I am thinking of selling my boat to do some real estate investments. My next boat will be a 36 foot Awesome cat. It's nice to see guys chatting on this site, as it has been quiet for a while. What do you think of that Awesome cat with the outboards? I feel it's going to be hard to hit 100 mph, what do you think? I know that the promax does not have any torque and that's what you need to carry weight not horsepower. Have a great holiday if we don't speak before than.. John
