Joe, If you are looking at Randy's 31, I believe that is a two owner boat. Both of which kept care of the boat, inside and out. One solid boat.
As for your original question (overall), I have never read or heard of any 31 Chris Cat, American Offshore or Awesome with any structure defect or failure. Course, that is why they are on the heavy side of the scale for a 31 size cat. Built with a fair amount of cloth and resin. When it comes to these make/models, the question is whether or not the owner (current or previous) took care of it. I.E. Inside or outside storage. And if outside, was the boat properly covered. What else do you want? |
Thanks Joe
