I just ordered all new panels from Kevin Gowland yesterday. Pics will come when I get the panels-about 2 weeks.

I did this last summer and its still fine. I live in Milwaukee so its been through a winter. I used the original 1/16" aluminum dash as a backing, so the weight of the gauges are being supported by that. The lucite is 1/8".

I always thought the aluminum was good from baja, Just painted these for someone in TX. The aluminum work was perfect, baja has come along way with their dashes in my opinion.

after 9 coats of clear and some shimmering irridecent pigment in the first layer of clear, end result
