Default 302

So I finally purchased a 302 boss. Its a fully loaded boat with HO's. It hasn't been in the water yet but hope to soon. I'm wondering what anyones idea of on speed would be???? The boat has what appear to be stock 28 bravos. I've heard the 30 outlaw with ho's goes high 70's. Would the 302 do the same? Also the hull has some type of wedges at the transom I'm wondering if this is by design or some type of flaw? They all appear to be equal in length and angle? Pretty confused by this. Any ideas?

Good for you! The 302's are a good boat. Need pictures on those wedges to see what they are.

302 is slower due to the weight. i would say the 70 mark is something to aim for. i dont know but just my 2 cents. good looking boat. good luck

Don't know if these pics make sense but there is a noticable "wedge" facing foward from the bottom of the transom. My old boat did not have these.

That would be hook and yes it's supposed to be there... Baja specifically puts this into their boats. I have heard of people removing the " hook " and their boats never handled right since.

Yep, that is hook. I have heard the same as Chris & I've also heard to the contrary. I looked at having the hook in mine removed, but don't trust anyone around here to do it.
