A few details for the record:

Baja's PokerFace rig drawing praise

BUCYRUS -- Baja's PokerFace 35 Outlaw Poker Run Edition won the award for "Most Exotic Graphics" at the Thousand Islands Poker Run held in Kingston, Ontario, on Aug. 12, the world's largest international poker run. The 35 Outlaw received the top honor out of the more than 100 exotic performance boats at the event.

The PokerFace rig's success continued the following weekend when the International CXT won "Best in Class" in the heavy duty class at the Emerald Coast Tow Vehicle Shootout held at the Emerald Coast Poker Run on Aug. 19 in Fort Walton Beach, Fla.

Stu McDonald, video producer for Poker Runs America, which organized the 1,000 Islands Poker Run, judged the contest based on how striking a boat's graphics appear both on the dock and from the air. "I spent the whole poker run in a helicopter filming," McDonald said. "PokerFace was the one that stood out. From the air, with all the flames graphics, it looked like it was on fire. It was a superb paint job."

The Emerald Coast Poker Run hosts numerous boats and tow vehicles each year to benefit the Emerald Coast Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to gathering resources, identifying needs, and distributing solutions for the benefit of children in Florida.

The PokerFace Baja 35 Outlaw Poker Run Edition and matching International CXT have been making their way across the country for the PokerFace Poker Run Tour, stopping traffic with an incredible custom paint job by Kustom Kolors featuring the aces and eights of Dead Man's Hand surrounded by flames. The pair has been racking up the awards at events all summer and recently won "Most Impressive Rig" at the Chicago Poker Run and the first place trophy in the "Heavy Duty Truck" division at the fifth annual Jacksonville Fire and Police River Rally Run.
"We're excited that the PokerFace 35 Outlaw Poker Run Edition and International CXT have received top awards at events as large as the Thousand Islands Poker Run and the Emerald Coast Poker Run," said Barbara Grobicki, Baja's director of marketing. "We're proud of Baja's position among the best."

For more information about the PokerFace Poker Run Tour and the rest of Baja's full-throttle lineup, visit bajamarine.com. To learn more about the International CXT, visit www.internationaldelivers.com.

The International(r) CXT is the perfect partner for the 35 Outlaw Poker Run Edition, considering its stature as the largest production pickup truck on the market, not to mention its strikingly bold design. The 21-foot truck will call any bluff, with its hip-high tires and nine-foot-tall cab. It can haul any road-ready load with its legendary International(r) DT 466 diesel engine, 20-ton towing capacity and 6-ton chassis capacity.

"The CXT is a great match for the 35 Outlaw," says Melissa Gauger, marketing manager at International Truck and Engine Corporation in Warrenville, Ill. "It's a vehicle built to handle any load and to do it boldly. With that Baja behind it, this custom CXT will definitely draw its share of attention on the road."

The 35 Outlaw Poker Run Edition is just as commanding, boasting all the performance features Baja is known for, from sleek hardware to weight-saving carbon fiber and Kevlar construction. But what makes this pair so unique is the custom paint job by Kustom Kolors of Marion, OH. The 35 Outlaw, named PokerFace, features an enormous card-holding skull surrounded by flames, and is an ideal match for the International(r) CXT, which features coordinating graphics. The poker hand that served as the inspiration for the graphics and that is featured on the boat is the famous "Dead Man's Hand" of aces and eights. Legend says that James "Wild Bill" Hickok held that hand when he was shot to death in Deadwood, S.D., in 1876. With these bold graphics, the boat and the truck create a moving mural that's sure to elicit long stares while on the road.

"The detail of the graphics is so intricate," said Barbara Grobicki, Baja's director of marketing. "The combination of the custom International(r) CXT(tm) with the Poker Run Edition 35 Outlaw really captures the 'big and bad' spirit of Baja events."

Poker Face ran a confirmed 92 MPH Radar in Sarasota this last weekend with four people on board.

They are questioning the GPS now, because it showed 89 while the radar showed 92 MPH.

The Hawkeye boat with 700's will be without question a triple digit boat!

We were running along with it ( Poker Face) at 86 GPS up at Dubuque last month.

This gets me wondering what my boat would run
at sea level and in salt water
